"The hotel is just marvelous. I have been coming here to eat out during the holidays since I was very little and always enjoyed the atmosphere here. Now, for the first time, I stayed overnight. The service was amazing, the staff went over the top with making us feel special, warmly welcomed but yet keeping Swiss discreteness. The breakfast buffet was so good and had a big variety I ate too much the Covid measures are perfectly looked after, without noticing too much. If ever I will conduct a seminar, I know now where to go in Switzerland. A family led hotel which is definitely worth a visit."

"If you are worried that a meal at Schauenstein is too much for you (you shouldn’t), check out its little brother restaurant and enjoy the delicious dishes in a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. But downplaying Casa Caminada as a prequel to Schauenstein doesn’t do it justice. We really enjoyed the lunch and the very friendly staff as all tables inside were taken and they set one for us outside. If you are visiting Casa Caminada you should try the freshly baked bread"

"Nice cozy restaurant. Very fine cuisine with very high quality and regional products. For business events, family dinners or even Sunday afternoon cake after a walk through Domleschg. Always a great experience for us!"

"We stopped here, hoping for a nice lunch, the restaurant looked attractive and had a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the food did not come to expectations. When the order was placed, it was clearly stated that no cream, as I am milk unbearable, but my salad was crushed in cream. It was replaced without apology and we then had to call the waiter back when my sister was raw in laws chicken, unfortunately we had to call the waiter back, as this time the avocado was so hard that the fork would not go into it. There was no excuse and the waiter didn't seem to care that we had no good meal. Unfortunately, an extremely disappointing lunch and a restaurant that I cannot visit again or recommend to others."
