"As mush as we were looking forward to try this restaurant, overall it was a disappointing experience. I noted on the reservation and called the restaurant ahead to let them know that we were celebrating a birthday, but as we settled in, we were asked if we were celebrating a special occasion!?? One would think that for this level of pricing, they would at least offer some staples like high quality /warm bread. We had 4 different appetizers and I cant say that any of them was great. Upon arrival we were given a seat next to a window the wouldn’t close all the way. It was freezing outside, very windy and raining. After complaining we were immediately reseated in main dining room. The service is perfect; not rushed but effective to. Our meal was delicious. Servings may be small but were quite enough for us.

Food was hit or miss. Pear-Fect,Salad, Spanish Octopus, Pork Belly Wrap, Misoyaki Cod were very good. The Squash Raviolo was also good but you get a single large Ravioli for $34 which is over priced . The Ahi Tuna Tataki looks nice but lacks flavor and too salty. The Cavatelli Amatriciana was also very salty. The lamb chops were generous in portions but was under seasoned and over charred. The place itself is beautiful but we were seated next to the back exit door which the staff keeps going in and out without closing the door completely which allowed the cold air to come in and made us uncomfortable. It kept happening although we complained a few times.

"We 've eaten at Hong 's lots of time have generally enjoyed the experience. We decided it would be the perfect spot for a post-Star Wars Not Christmas dinner. We approached the meal with lower expectations because it was a holiday. And we were not disappointed. Okay, we were, but we 'd allowed for that mostly. Still, while we didn 't expect the usual attentiveness we experience, we were put off that other parties--one without a reservation--were served well before we even got our drinks. We had to ask for every, single part of the meal--including a wine list and to order--repeatedly. One dish--walnut honey prawns--was barely warm, and the walnuts had been replaced with pecans. The other, a sizzling beef special, was okay. The only thing that came quickly was the check. It was particularly galling when an older couple seated next to us as we were finishing were treated with exceptional care and attentiveness, the server going over every aspect of the meal and bringing their drinks and appetizers promptly. We couldn 't help but wonder if our poor service had something to do with being two women dining together. Maybe it was that we 'd moved from one side of the front dining room, where we were placed in front of a drafty door, to the other, where it turned out we were in front of an equally drafty window. Who knows? But on a particularly cold night, this chill added to an overall unsatisfying experience."

"overall, eating was very good and abundant. good variety and something for everyone. the gnocchi was a bit a bit a bit a bit. the service was ok, but not great. the orders were forgotten and sometimes difficult to get the attention of the waiting staff. but they were polite. we sat in a side-dining area that was decorating and not particularly beautiful. it was a fairly cold evening with an explosion cold air every time the door opened. on the plus side the wein is sold without brandup and there is no cork fee. tab was $360 for 4 with only 3 drinks and no dessert. I would expect a little more for this price. eating is very good, but service and ambiente could use some work."

"Loved the customer service!... The elderly man was very helpful. Took our order on the screen, was very knowledgeable about how to use it and customize our order. He did it with a smile! The service was fast, and accurate. He took our order to the table. We need more people like this, It definitely put a smile on my day and my kids. With customer service like this made our food taste better. Lol!"
