"We were looking to find a place that had seafood pizza and saw the review from another person who raved about it so we figured we would give it a try. We have eaten here for breakfast and have stopped in for ice cream the past three years but never realized they had seafood pizza. It was amazing. We were stunned because in general we are very particular about pizza. We would highly recommend their seafood pizza. We had the shrimp pizza. The crust was outstanding and there was a very generous amount of shrimp. The seasoning was delicious and it was not greasy. We are thrilled to have discovered their awesome pizza. We will definitely be back next year on our return visit."

Closed at 7:30 drove all the way to have the pie and were closed early. Very disappointed

We grabbed a slice of blueberry pie after a short hike. There were only a couple slices out on the display so I'm not sure how long the pie was sitting there. I appreciated the amount of blueberry filling and it wasn't too sweet, but wasn't particularly impressed with the pie overall. I'm sure it would've tasted better if it were more fresh! But otherwise really great filling to crust ratio.

"Within 5 minutes of arriving to a line of 20+ people, the owner came out to give everyone the ?lay of the land.? That included pointing out the bar for those who wanted a beverage while waiting and apologizing in advance for any issues as they were, like everyone, short staffed. They didn?t appear short staffed, the line moved quickly, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Couldn?t have been a better experience. A bit pricey, but totally worth it for the food, the view, and the service."

"Food was incredible and worth the parking hassle. We got the fried scallop roll, onion rings, clam chowder and ginger beers. Everything was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was piping hot. Ginger beer was a great local selection. They lost a star for lack of parking. When it’s busy it’s impossible to find a spot. Luckily they have 10 minute spots that were available so we could pick up food. They should consider working out a deal with neighbors to get more parking options"

"Francis and Ralph are a staple in Southwest Harbor! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all great food. Clean as a whistle and wonderful friendly hometown environment. Meatloaf is my favorite for dinner with homemade blueberry pie for dessert! Yum! Also, best ice cream in town. You won't be disappointed."

"5 stars for view, location and food. We had a table overlooking the harbor with the lobster boats and sail boats floating at their moorings. A nice breeze was comfortable on a sunny day. I had a small salad and the Bass Harbor Seafood sandwich with the sweet potato fires and an iced tea that was refilled. The reasonable price alone would recommend the restaurant but the meal was as good as the view. The menu has a variety of items if you do not like seafood. The staff were great with friendly and professional service."

"After hiking on the Bald Peak Trail we were looking for a place to eat in the last second. Although they had no reservations, we decided to visit anyway. From the bat we sat directly on the windows overlooking the water. Our server was very attentive and the pop-over, artichoke dip, lobster soup, lobster gnocchi and, to complete it, everything from the blueberry crumb was extraordinary. In any case, it's worth coming over."
