"I had an amazing meal here June 1st! The restaurant has a very friendly, inviting atmosphere and our service was impeccable. I had the Crispy Duck Breast and it was cooked perfectly-is it too much to say the duck was so tender it almost melted in my mouth????? No! Not too much! It was that good! And that was after a delicious charcuterie board as a starter. And of course a perfect bottle of wine. Just a great evening meal. And I will definitely come back!"

Such a delicious dessert! Sweet potatoes sunflower. It was sooo yummy and paired with an amber beer made it even tastier.

From the creators of the Beacon Butcher Bar comes another fantastic restaurant in the Boone area. This cozy place is located between Boone and Banner Elk and offers a scenic selection of dishes and wines with enough variety for everyone to find something to their taste. The terrace offers a few tables for outdoor seats.

WOW! A culinary masterpiece. A team effort. This is a restaurant worth every ounce of effort. It is worth paying every time. A unique South menu that really includes the southern kitchen and brings it to another level. Every opportunity is worth enjoying this wonderful setting that makes Banner Elk a better place. The oysters were great, and I had the lambs that were only wow.

"Excellent menu and daily specials. We had halibut, salmon, crab cakes amongst us; all were delicious and they allowed subs on the sides. Parker was as good as any waiter I have enjoyed in 60 years of social and business dining during extensive travel. One negative....they charge an exorbitant credit card fee so we used cash. Please, don't stoop so low at such a fine restaurant; build the charges into your costs at the cost incurred rather than padding the bottom line."

"Nice establishment with good food. Wasn't super expensive for the quality of the meal, which I appreciated. The atmosphere was classy which I enjoyed as well. Only downside was they didn't have crushed red pepper. "No no no no no no no. I can't tell you how the good food is if you order and eat in the restaurant but with the large group of 12 that we had there were not any accommodating tables so we did takeout. I have never seen food prepared and thrown into silver take out trays that tasted so disgusting in my life. Again maybe it was because we took it out and there wasn't as much care given as there was no fear the food would be returned to the kitchen. It's been a year later and we still have never returned and probably will not."

"The service is fantastic. The food is mediocre at best, but they charge as though it is great. If the prices aligned with the quality of the food, I'd have given them another star. It was a disappointing experience for my entire family... Then, they substantially overcharged my card for more than twice the correct amount, which did get sorted out but not until the next day. $103 for three people for dinner and an appetizer. No alcohol. Not a bad price for GOOD Italian food, but it was just okay."
