"Food is good. Great for take out. Was interested in grabbing a breakfast/lunch item from this spot, so went in to realize they have just quesadillas and wraps which is totally okay. Plenty of pre-packaged food that looks yummy and maybe would be interested from a grab go stand point! But we both decided on a wrap and paid and were told 15-20 minutes so okay we leave go for a walk come back 20 minutes later and nothing. And then we are told just a few more minutes, so we wait patiently. Finally the two wraps arrive and it’s a tortilla with the appropriate toppings of cold cuts and lettuce all rolled up. 2 out of 3 meals in Bar Harbor had been a waste of money, and then we found this place.Took some lentil soup and veggie fried rice back to the hotel. It was great even if we were only able to reheat in the microwave.

Small to go shop with sandwiches and prepared dishes. Also, staff bake an awesome chocolate chip cookie and a honey fudge (peanut butter with honey that smooths the peanut butter taste).Over my stay I bought several sandwiches, sides and drinks. The sandwiches were nice size and well filled and very reasonable priced. The sides I liked as the potato salad was very good. They have an interesting array of interesting flavors from Maine Roots (Blueberry, Mandrine Orange, Sarsaparilla and more).

"Within 5 minutes of arriving to a line of 20+ people, the owner came out to give everyone the ?lay of the land.? That included pointing out the bar for those who wanted a beverage while waiting and apologizing in advance for any issues as they were, like everyone, short staffed. They didn?t appear short staffed, the line moved quickly, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Couldn?t have been a better experience. "Food was incredible and worth the parking hassle. We got the fried scallop roll, onion rings, clam chowder and ginger beers. Everything was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was piping hot. Ginger beer was a great local selection. They lost a star for lack of parking. When it’s busy it’s impossible to find a spot. Luckily they have 10 minute spots that were available so we could pick up food. They should consider working out a deal with neighbors to get more parking options"

"Francis and Ralph are a staple in Southwest Harbor! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all great food. Clean as a whistle and wonderful friendly hometown environment. Meatloaf is my favorite for dinner with homemade blueberry pie for dessert! Yum! Also, best ice cream in town. You won't be disappointed."

"5 stars for view, location and food. We had a table overlooking the harbor with the lobster boats and sail boats floating at their moorings. A nice breeze was comfortable on a sunny day. I had a small salad and the Bass Harbor Seafood sandwich with the sweet potato fires and an iced tea that was refilled. The reasonable price alone would recommend the restaurant but the meal was as good as the view. The menu has a variety of items if you do not like seafood. The staff were great with friendly and professional service."

"After hiking on the Bald Peak Trail we were looking for a place to eat in the last second. Although they had no reservations, we decided to visit anyway. From the bat we sat directly on the windows overlooking the water. Our server was very attentive and the pop-over, artichoke dip, lobster soup, lobster gnocchi and, to complete it, everything from the blueberry crumb was extraordinary. In any case, it's worth coming over."
