"This restaurant has great potential, but falls short due to the customer service, inaccurate online information, and inconsistent cuisine. We visited on two occasions: once for dinner and once for a beer and pretzel. On the positive side, the selection of authentic German beer on tap is IMPRESSIVE and the DELICIOUS traditional pretzel was served HOT and with both German mustard AND tasty pretzel cheese. It was HUGE and covered in delicious salt crystals, similar to those I've had at Oktoberfest in Munich. The best restaurant in Oxford Ohio by far! Their waitress, Gina, is the absolute best wait staff you will ever encounter!! Not only is she the best server but her attitude and personality are out of this world!! She makes each visit better than the last. The food is so delicious but honestly Gina sets the most positive tone for our family gatherings. She is a gem!

"As we arrived, we were nicely greeted at the door. We had made reservations, which work really well. The waiter was attentive without being invasive. She even brought a big bowl of iced water for my service dog. As many times happens to me, I asked for mild food and it wasn’t as mild as I would have preferred. They were far more successful in making other accommodations, though. This restaurant pays attention to details and their food it outstanding. We ordered a black ribeye without pepper and pan seared scallops. Delicious!"

"What a great find! Finally had proper southern cooking in Oxford, MS! The chicken and dumplings as well as the pork chops were amazingly flavorful and the ultimate comfort foods! Sides were great, too: butter beans 5*, collards 5* and green beans braised with pork 5*. Wanted to see if their banana pudding was the real deal- my husband was skeptical...one bite and he was sold. THE best real southern banana pudding we ever ate!"

"my daughter and are out of town and decided to eat in this restaurant after I read the reviews. it is as amazing as the reviews say. I ate the filet and my daughter has the jambalaya, it was so delicious that we'll come back when we're back in town. we had the best waiter (edward,) who was really on the service and knew his menu. the chef is also amazing.
