"My father passed away so I needed some beach time. I rented cabin on the beach and was in the mood for some good seafood Steve's Landing Restaurant is right on the water and really a lovely space!! I dined at night and it was cold so I couldn't see much of the water while dining but I did see a big boat glide by from my booth. The restaurant has large open windows to take in the view, gray washed wood plank floors and large, gorgeous filament lighting. The effect is spacious and warm. The posts are large palm trees and the walls are stacked log. My server Nicky are extremely friendly, very attentive. She did an amazing job!! I ordered some red wine and inhaled my water, she was quick to refill. For a started I got the crab stuffed jalapenos, served with ranch. Good flavor but the crab taste was a bit lost with the strong jalapeno taste. Still good, though. I was wavering between the Tikka shrimp and jalapeno grits and the crab cakes, Nicky strongly recommended the shrimp and grits. It was served and looked gorgeous, my only criticism is that the shrimp had the tails on. The Tikka sauce was amazing! It was rather thick so it was hard to gauge where the tails are to take off. I got a few bites of tails, not so great. The jalapeno grits were creamy and a total dream. I mentioned to Nikki I did restraunt reviews, I was honored that they sent out a bacon wrapped app they are considering and requested my feedback. I ordered banana foster cheesecake to go, looking forward to enjoying that later. Total 5 of 5 dining experience."

"We dined in at 5 pm. They had a delayed opening because of short staffing so you might want to call and see if they are open before driving there. The staff was very friendly. The food was good and service was pretty quick. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo and 1/2 a sandwich. Both were delicious . Hubby had grilled shrimp and he enjoyed it as well. It can get very busy so bring your patience and order a drink and enjoy!"

"This place was super busy 2 hours before closing on the last night we were visiting Crystal Beach, Texas. The staff was patient and still cared about our concerns and needs once we were seated. This location was recommended to us by some locals and they were right! Food was good and plentiful. Our waitress was young and tired but still kept 100% throughout our dinner! We tipped her accordingly as well. She not only deserve it she earned it! My son order the chicken fried steak and I got the seafood platter. That platter was enough for me and my wife. Thanks again for a great meal and thanks for hiring the hardest young workers we have seen in a long while!!"

"Im from Dallas TX and this food is absolutely disgusting.The man that was serving us came and gave us our menu but he didnt ask what we wanted until my uncle told him that the kids were thirsty if he didn’t say that we wouldnt got something to drink.Our chicken sandwich was bad we didnt like it.This place is expensive too just for trashy food 100+ dollars.I would rather eat at mc donalds.Dont eat here. Food: 1"

"The place was super busy and it took about 30 min for us to get our ice cream.. while waiting we watched the kid make ice cream it was unsanitary. The kid had ice cream the whole way up and down his arm past the glove he was wearing. When he went to scoop different ice creams he would use a paper towel to wipe the old ice cream off. He also used the same glove he was scooping ice cream with to open the doors and grab new ice cream containers. There were two kids running this whole Ice cream shop. Whenever he scooped the ice cream he scooped one scoop to make a 16oz milkshake and told the girl he was working with “ I hope that’s enough to make a milk shake “, then she proceeded to fill it up to the absolute top with milk so it tasted like a glass of milk would not recommend this place."
