"I stopped in for lunch at the referral of a friend and another local business owner. Kudos to the owner and entire staff! I had the triple play, which is their egg salad tuna salad, and chicken salad served on lettuce which is a touch of chopped tomato to make it look pleasing to the eye, along with a fresh fruit salad, (that comes with it), and WOW! It was DELICIOUS!!!!!! Now I must go back and try other items on the menu! I loved all the signs precariously located on all of the walls in all of the spaces possibly available and it was just my cup of tea! Hats off to this adorable restaurant! I highly recommend to anyone that hasn't been there!"

I took the back roads from Bradenton to Orlando and stopped in Bartow Florida. Was blessed to find a whimsical cafe called Sweet Magnolias. I was enticed to walk in to this enchanting space when i saw the brightly colored chairs and live parakeets on the entry patio. Once in, my artistic senses went in overdrive with the fun decor, a mix of both vintage and new. Food… Ah-mazing! This day I had an Ultimate Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque Soup and a Sweet Tea. Fantastic!!!! So good, I’ll be making the one hour drive again just to have lunch!

"Stopped her for lunch today on a 'road trip ', firstly, the staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Me and my wife both had sandwiches with café con leche, the sandwiches are made with their homemade Cuban bread, they were wonderful to say the least. The café con leche was hot and flavorful, we purchased two guava and cream cheese turn overs (home made to have at home later.... this place is well worth the visit.. will be back again :"

"I have visited this restaurant several times and have always been impressed with the excellent service and food. Our server today, Jenna, was fantastic - she was attentive, polite, energetic, and extremely helpful. The service was top-notch. We were there for lunch, and the price per person was in the $20-30 range. The food was delicious, earning a perfect 5 rating. The atmosphere was also great, earning a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Salad Bar and Cheese Sticks."

"I’m giving 2 stars rather than 1, only because the service was good. The food not so much. In fact it was the worst breakfast I have ever ordered. I ordered a corned beef hash omelette, diced potatoes with onion and toast. First thing I noticed when the food arrived was the potatoes were not like any potatoes and onion I had ever gotten at breakfast. They were FROZEN potatoes fried with some cooked diced onion threw on top. They tasted like they had been fried in old (gross tasting) oil. The omelette came with bell peppers and onion(unlike anything I had ever seen). I told the server I did not want peppers in my omelette. She informed me it came like that but would take it back and have it made without peppers and onions. Side note I did not see any CBH in that omelette. She returns shortly with an omelette. An omelette that was the grossest thing I have ever put in my mouth. The eggs were so way over cooked. An omelette should be yellow in color. This was brown.. so over cooked it changed the taste of the eggs. And as for the CBH there was barely any in the omelette, even after taking out the “filler”(peppers and onions). I asked for a box and left. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING. I wish I would have went with my first idea and went to Broadway Diner. Maybe then I would not have wasted $18!"

"I've been traveling through Bartow for years. This little pizza place on the square got my eye, but never tried to do it until tonight. The pizza I'm sure is amazing, but the lasagna has no real description in English. Maybe something in Italian can describe it. I'll never go to dinner here again."
