"Best burgers in town! Great service! Friendly staff! But I do not recommend the Veggie Burger. It tastes like a black bean patty, it's SERIOUSLY spicy! I think it's probably a chip of black bean patty that is not specified on the menu, so if you don't or not like sharp, just note this. They were friendly enough to replace my burger w/a regular Cheeseburger w/o asked them so I appreciated that. One thing to note...PLEASE patient with the staff during the lunch break. There is only one person to take orders and answer the phone while trying to help windows customers also a person cooking so that they move as quickly as possible. It is best to order before p/u in the window. The online order didn’t work when I tried to use it, so it can be better to call BUT again, remember that there is only one person trying to answer the phone at the same time trying to take Windows orders. Also mistakes on orders happen, especially during the lunch break, so please be kind! They do the best they can!."

"Granny D's is a favorite with the locals and tourists, alike. As with any establishment, there are off days! Try the Texas sized pancake, one pound BLT, or MAN sized chicken fried steak, if you dare!!! The ranch is delicious, and you can't beat the biscuits and gravy! Don't let the isolated instances, keep you away! Granny D's deserves all the stars!"

"I 'll preface this review by saying my family and I used to really like eating at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and was worth the drive from New Braunfels. Unfortunately, the last time we went, the staff had the AC set unbearably cold. All the customers were wearing jackets while trying to eat and agreed the temperature was too cold. When we mentioned the cold to the waitress and asked to move to a warmer section of the restaurant, we were told we couldn 't move as the other waitress couldn 't take any more customers. Note that this restaurant is NOT a large building. I suppose our waitress would have had to take 3 extra steps if we had moved....definitely too far to go, I guess. So, we decided to leave. On the way out, we noticed the thermostat was set at 72 degrees. When we left, I called to speak with the manager, but whoever picked up the phone just picked it up and let it sit without answering. So, I called back 30 min later, and the lady that answered stated, The manager is not here. Well, THAT explains the problem. So, in closing, great food can be found here, and our prior visits were very good. I hope the management makes some changes and figures out how to make the restaurant a more appropriate temperature for dining customers."

"One of the best anniversary dinners ever. My husband and I just celebrated our 15th anniversary by eating at Silver Sage. My husband chose the Pontchartrain (Redfish) and I chose the Mahi Mahi Entree. Both dishes were so delicious and cooked for perfection from fish to rice pilaf to vegetables. Then we have the meal with a slice of lime cake...perfect ending to a fantastic meal! And if the delicious food was not good enough, the service and the gastronomy was exceptional!! We have found one of our new favorite restaurants in our area and look forward to having lunch again!"

"I ordered a California Burrito. The Queso was so watered down, it didn’t stick to the tortilla. The burger (I ordered the beef option) was tasteless. No flavor in the burrito. The salsa was good.
