"My husband and I docked our motor yacht at the Onancock marina and Mallards is right there at the dock. We made a reservation as it was Saturday night. We were seated on time, indoors per our request. Karen, our server, was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is casual as one would expect in a dockside seafood restaurant. The food was excellent! We had Mallard's salad, romaine salad, Mahi Mahi plate, rockfish plate and a creme brulee for dessert. We would visit Onancock again just to eat at Mallard's! Thank you for an enjoyable meal!"

"We ate well all week on holiday, but this meal was our favorite! I had the fat-cut pork stall with groin reduction. Even well done, it was so delicate and tasteful! My friend loved the Bourbon salmon! It had a light crust but was so moist and delicious! Compliments to the cook! Our dinners were cooked for perfection! And our server Kelly was so pleasant, helpful and attentive! Our evening experience would not have been better! Thank you. We're coming back!"

"Good thing, this was on the way and remembered that there was one of the highly praised fried chicken francs south... there is no industry yet where we live... the biscuits I really love... bigger and yet softer and not too salty... the Mac and cheese side is also not overwhelming, so I think you could go lost and finish the whole thing... the Koleslaw... The only thing is that I think they can season more to compete with Popeyes' likes... but overall the experience... the family loved it..."

"I've never seen bacon like I had there It literally tasted like dog I hate to put anything negative down at all but I was really taken aback on how phenomenally horrible the bacon was how do you even do that May God bless them May they change their supplier or whatever the problem is but I would address that issue"
