"Got really excited when this place came up during a web search for another Izakaya. Convinced my partner to give it a try after reviewing other comments on line. The parking should have been a giveaway; trashy, unkept and not maintained, poor street appearance. We walked in and the interior didn’t look much better. Should have left then. But like a toothache, I wanted to try the food.The tempura was crudely chopped hunks of vegetables, greasy, and without flavor. The Hamachi Kama was large and looked okay but had a fishy smell to it and the presentation was lacking; some shredded cabbage and a small dollop of grated radish and an equal amount of dipping sauce and half a slice of lemon.
