"I made reservations for a birthday celebration for my 86 year old mom. no acknowledgement was made to mom or wish her a happy birthday, I thought server did not hear me. she was too busy getting everyone drink order. Most ordered breakfast. I orders the waffle supreme. I would have thought they would bring the maple syrup with the plate. No she had to go get it. By the time she came back the waffle was cold and hard. Also I ordered a side of sausage. but when my waffle came there was bacon AND sausage. Our waitress was very attentive and cheerful. Love the Brussels sprouts and fried oysters for appetizers. The entries are a generous size and always delicious. AND the bartenders know their stuff.

My first dinner at the Meeting HOuse, we order the calamari appetizer which was very good. My son ordered the shrimp cappelini and I ordered the sea bass (the most expensive item . The shrimp cappelini was okay; it was like someone took cream and a lot of cajun seasoning and mixed it together. Their really wasn't much depth of flavor. My sea bass was undercooked and a bit tough, and the risotto was a bit undercooked as well. (I microwaved the left overs the next day and the sea bass was perfect and flakey, but it should have come out that way. The entree was $32 that meal should have come out perfect for that price point. I will try it again, but won't order the same items.
