"I would give this restaurant 5 stars for eating. the chef chef is wonderful and creates exquisite dishes. we had the soup that was divine. the only reason I stopped at 4 stars was the price a little high. we have a $20 bark brother, but there was hardly 1 oz bark. I know it's tapas style, but the price-to-share ratio was a little high. that said I enjoy this restaurant and will return when we come back to obx. all meals, desserts and cocktails are made with planning and expertise."

"Urban Kitchen deserves all the hype! Not gonna lie, I was a little hesitant to try it out (despite it having been on my radar for a while) since it’s in a strip mall section next to the grocery store. But don’t let that deter you the food and drink was phenomenal, as was the service.There are not many seats inside so the earlier you go the better, especially since they do not take reservations. Made for an enjoyable socially distanced vibe. I feel if they had curtains or something on the front windows to obscure the parking lot views, it would only make it that much cozier."

"My wife, I and two daughters have just eaten here and I have to say that the food and service are second to none. The asparagus soup, Dirty South Martini and the food we are excellent. We ordered the cheese plate, bread with honey truffle butter, blue crab cocktail, the fish and Sirloin cups, torment with goat cheese Mac n cheese and everything we are excellent. Since this is a tapas restaurant to be sure that you order many dishes, asparagus plates are appetizer size. If you are in the outer banks, make sure you strip and eat here. We're coming back!"

"We arrived around opening time. We are 2 families, a total of 9 people. We knew they didn't except big groups, so we went knowing that each family was going to sit separate. We waited at the door and once the host came out, we told her we wanted to sit separate from each other so we could dine. Her face quickly changed, and she said she doesn't split groups. She was adamant that since we came together she wasn't going to seat us. I thought this was ridiculous. You mean to tell me that if one family came 5 minutes after the other one you wouldn't sit them just because they know people that are dining inside? Her demeanor was rude even though we were calm. She said we couldn't eat there and walked back in."

"the customer service was great! all worked was so friendly and welcoming. the place itself was clean and organized and I loved everything about the design of the place. the smoothies and bowls were great, the fruit was fresh and the smoothies tasted amazing! I recommend everyone in the escape area!"
