"The Old Barn on Barbur Blvd. is that red brick building I’ve driven past for twenty years. We decided to stop by on Friday to grab some quick bar food. To my surprise, they have a great menu when it comes to house specialities. I had hoped to have razor clams or prime rib but opted for soup andsalad instead.I wish I would have tried the special fried chicken lunch but I didn’t know how amazing it sounded until we were almost leaving and I heard our server describe it to someone else. Best razor clams I've eaten out in a long time. Gluten free bun nice touch on the burgers, a couple other gluten free dishes would be welcome (tacos maybe? . Will be back.

A well-loved, longstanding neighborhood favorite. Friendly and laid back, excellent bar and tap selection, reasonable food selection (not fancy, but tasty and good-sized portions) and nicely spaced-out dine-in seating. Prices are excellent, service is attentive. And I really like their wings!

Nice place, fairly mellow yet more than capable of a potential good time. Friendly staff as well as the patrons. Every time I slide through from outta town I 'm greeted with basically nothing! In a good way. Often times smaller taverns come with dirty looks and an overall unwelcoming vibe. That 's just not the case with 'The Old Barn '

"I visited this location for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food we all ordered was of very good quality, with great preparation and flavorful spices. The pita bread was amazing and we all indulged a bit too much. The atmosphere is lively and bright with nice decorations. The restaurant also has a convenient parking lot. I will definitely be returning, as I can't think of a better Mediterranean restaurant in Portland with such great food, atmosphere, and prices."

"we wanted to return to the pad thai kitchen with a friend for lunch yesterday, after many yrs since we don't live nearby any longer....it's had been around 14 yrs or so since eating here last...we sat outside in the nice weather....we each had a singha beer.....next, i had the veggie stir fry with tofu, and my partner had the pad su wen with mixed veggies...our friend had the happy lemongrass chicken....the food/drink were excellent as always....the staff is so friendly and efficient....we are so happy we returned....the outdoor tables are nice and comfy...thx so much...."

"Brilliant spot. I love the pad see ew and evil prince curry here, but you basically can’t go wrong. They won’t make fun of you for ordering the pad thai or yakisoba, or asking for it not too spicy. But if you want Thai Spicy, they’ve got you there, too. Everyone is always so friendly and prices are good.Pro tip: eat here! Don’t let your food lose its best minutes of life in a container inside a bag. Dine in (there is seating outside if you observe restrictions on indoor eating for covid safety)! The food is best right out of the kitchen and on a plate.If you ever have a bad time here, it’s surely a rare bad day— I keep coming back because it’s always lovely."
