"We're from KS, we're going to see the Grand Canyon. Would stop being a bit out of the car and eating something that wasn't fast food. Fast Google search had this as the nearest place we were, and so we stayed. By far one of the best decisions on this whole trip. Breakfast, lunch or dinner menu tasted amazing (we were a party of 4 and finally ended order a bit of any menu style) portions were definitely worth the cost, and quality is as if I would just make it at home! I don’t know the next time when I’m in Flagstaff, or Arizona in general, but you can bet that this place guarantees a stop on my trip!!! Good parking, easy access to small shopping centers with laundry, dollar shop, car parts shop, etc. Many seats. The staff was welcoming, professional, efficient, friendly. The food was quickly prepared, delicious and inexpensively correct. Little diner feeling. Good breakfast.

Go through town and stop for breakfast. Christina was our waitress and she was amazing. Very fast, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The food portions are huge! So much food for your money. The bacon is big and thick. Everything we ordered was delicious. The cookies and Gravy are amazing, I wish we had more space in our bells. And thanks for having grits on the menu! It helped my pregnancy.

As always, I enjoy the hole on the wall. This place does not touch the part they serve on your plate. I ordered three egg omelet with pancake stack. And like half a pound of ash brown...lol.well, it seems like a 1/2 pound. The Omelet itself was portioned. I love eating. Buy, this time I was unable to end all my food. This place was chosen EIGHT times "BEST OF THE BEST place for breakfast and Lunch. As always, support your local businesses. I enjoyed the food, the staff. Stop for a good hearty breakfast

"Excellent food, just too long of a wait on a Friday night. For a solo dinner, I had to wait 40min after ordering. I believe the kitchen was lagging, because the front of the house staff was very efficient and friendly. If I had known, I would have ordered a starter or a drink. I'm used to Asian food coming out in 10min, and my expectation is anytime under half an hour. They could dim the lights to make it more cosy, and also put a sign on that goddam door, patrons waiting to be seated keep it open forever and its chilly and windy in the middle of the dinning room, quite uncomfortable. Again, the staff was nice and the food, when it arrived, was delicious. Just improve the environment and the waiting time! "Well, we had really high hopes. I 've heard so many folks talk about how great this place is and I frequent their sister Proper Meats. The photos looked great, the menu sounded amazing. We decided to splurge for our anniversary, and well, it was prettydisappointing. 1) service was lack luster. Maybe saw our server 3 times that night. She never even asked us if we wantedanother glass of wine. 2) we reserved a table outside. The weather was perfect. The concrete patio...not so much. We had a nicelittle slope to contend with which made the chairs and table wobbly. 3) Someone previously stated they were disappointed thatthey received 4 small slices of duck breast...well, we only got 2 slices (about 4 bites worth for $38) and a sad salad withit. The fish was good, portioned appropriately but nothing to brag about. Sadly, all the food needed salt. We left for anotherestablishment for drinks and dessert to celebrate. Unfortunately, due to the experience we had, we won 't be back again."

"the spicy tofu dish was not only delicious, but it looked fantastic! it was not spicy enough, but I asked for a side of chili paste and it was perfect. for an appetizer, the schishito paprika are a hit! they have a ingwer garlic seasoning rubbed on them that taste packed. the veggie miso suppe was the disappointment. it was bland and needs more taste. However, it was nice to see vegan options whether they want sushi, ramen, appetizer or a teller."

"This was an anniversary celebration which was noted when making the reservation. However, none of the staff acknowledged this special event. Our entrees were served lukewarm, and one steak was well-done despite being ordered as medium-well. The flowers on the table were beyond needing to be thrown out. While the waiter was very pleasant and efficient, his attention was almost too excessive. The pecan pie was lost in all the fruit frills added to it. The setting was charming and the food was near satisfactory. But overall, it was a disappointing evening. Most likely we will not visit again."
