"Disappointing. not even anyone else there and poor service took a long time to get my food. nice enough but never even asked how it was or offered to refill my water. maherghita pizza has just regular cheese and lacks flavor. had to offer hot pepper to be edible. large and decent price but my homemade is tastier and could have made from scratch in the time i waited. great reviews and wanted to find a new local place to go but no luck. maybe just a bad one off and might try again"

Great service, good food prices are not high. I really enjoyed my time there. New owners take over next 30 days. Hopefully they improve the atmosphere while keeping the food quality

Best local Italian hands down...moved in close by and definitely becoming a regular here! My favorites are the lasagna and spaghetti for sure but it's all good food here! And don't forget of course, the tiramisu!! Only wish for a larger wine selection and a Syrah but my review is solely based on my experience and the food quality here 10/10!

This place is full of crazy fun people. You don't know it at first but then the waiter will crack a joke that you weren't expecting. The attitude of the staff makes the experience very pleasant. Also they speak Italian which makes me suspect someone here knows a lot about Italian food.The food is very good, especially the pasta. They make the desserts and those are amazing.

"I went Monday for lunch at 1130am(they just open). I was the very 1st customer and first one to ordered but I got my ramen after the 4th person ? lol(an hr). I had to checked it if I didn't ask them ill probably won't get my food hahaha. Idk what happened but I guess it's too early? Hahahaha However, food was delicious ?. "A sweet place to study, read, journal, and hang out with a friend. Excellent food! It’s rare to find a cute cafe with such great food selection. I had the hummus veggie wrap and it was delicious and filling. Definitely will return and try some of their herbal teas ?"

"So this place is really sweet. Very nice furnishings with terrace in front and back. That was definitely huge. We were probably too busy. U know with Covid... probably lack of staff makes it hard to get to the best service time. Of course, that's a factor. Well, my husband ordered lamb (meat fall from the bone!, my son ordered some beef, my daughter ordered Ravioli and I ordered stuff sole (be careful for tiny bones). For appetizers we had stuffed mushrooms, and some bruscutta bread. Everything was delicious. The service was so slow, so they gave me a 10% discount, as there were big parties in the back that arrived before us. Of course, we were not too happy at the time, which is why I waited to publish a happy review. Maybe next time it will be a perfect assessment. I hope you'll try. Next they own a winery. There are a few additional parking spaces on the back. her food is delicious."

"First, the food is absolutely delicious and by itself is worthy of a five-star rating. What makes this place stand out for us are Sam and George, the husband-and-wife owners. He runs the kitchen and she runs the dining room. George is happy to explain everything on the menu, and make suggestions. His help was most appreciated, and we ordered things we may not have otherwise ordered. Everything was amazing! Sam, from the moment we arrived, proved herself to be the funnier of the two. She clearly enjoys what she does, and loves making people laugh. She had us in stitches, and we still chuckle about her a month later. If you live in San Diego, or you are just visiting, go to Alforon! You will not be disappointed."

"Located in a strip mall with ample free parking, Antica Trattoria 's decor has a cozy, authentic Italian feel with different textures and al fresco style paintings on the walls. There is some limited outdoor seating looks like seating left over from Covid days in the parking lot). The music was a little loud and non fitting, but the atmosphere was vibrant. The food was good and portions were generous. I always judge a restaurant by its bread and this restaurant had excellent bread! Very fresh and doughy I could have eaten the whole basket! The freshly made generous portion of tiramisu for dessert was also excellent. $13, May 2023) Service was swift and committed a few 'faux pas ' in my book. First, they removed my plate before my dining partner was finished and then the waiter verbally announced the list of desserts as said dining partner was still finishing eating their entree. We could only remember half of the desserts a paper dessert menu would have been appreciated). About 2 seconds after dessert was delivered, the bill was placed on the table without asking if we wanted coffee or anything else. I understand we had a 90 minute window in which to dine as is common nowadays in the USA), but we were well within that window. We would have appreciated not feeling rushed, particularly since it was Mother 's Day, a special occasion. That and slightly high prices were why I took off a star."
