"Only gave two stars because the food is actually amazing. When I go to restaurants I always take in consideration if this restaurant is family friendly or not I have two children under 5).The answer? NOT. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE TAKING YOUR KIDS. They make you feel very uncomfortable and don't even want to bother with you. They seem like they are annoyed with children. Service sucked every time I've ever gone. I only went back for the food. I've gone here 3 times with my kids and every time I've been they have been so rude to me and my kids. The waitress saw me with my 1 year old on my lap struggling and didn't even offer me a high chair I had to ask. When I asked she seemed annoyed. Also, when I first sat down she walked directly to the table in back that got there after me of me and asked if they wanted anything to drink. Completely ignored me and my kids. I almost walked out after I ordered my drinks but I'm not that person... so disappointed."

"I dinee here and her sister restaurant (sakonnet river grille) rare. my favorite meal is the chicken parm dinner. the quality and quantity of diner is excellent, but every time I have to order it on the palmer river, I have to make sure that they actually add some marinara sauce to the eat. otherwise it is hardly present. Perhaps the chef will read this, as I am sure that not the only one! and that is not the case with sakonnet grille. the service of gina was excellent!"

"OMG!!! It's about my/our 7th visit to Chomp and it just stays better...what can I say more? Well, much... I used to live in Bristol, RI, but now lived in Wilmington, NC and every time I visit RI (which is often I sure I stop from Chomp to dinner. When they first opened, they had an appetizer on the menu, the baked and seasoned almonds, homemade hummus, olives and pita, which was simply amazing. It was our way to the appetizer... Now it's their poutins, which is almost a meal of itself. If you have a party of 3 or 4, you should really try this appetizer and ask for a spoon! My last visit included my favorite ex wife (I only have one! and one of our many sons. We had another burger and I chose the 'Cheeeeseburger', the two garlic bread grilled cheese beans around melted onions, a generous beef patty, tomato jam, Americas and Cheddar cheese and bacon aioli....Holy **** Batman...fan 'ing tastic! (if you know what I mean) The selection of beer, wine and special drinks is perfect and we have always enjoyed the very friendly waiting staff. I will be back in Rhode Island later this summer and will stop from Chomp again. Thank you... and stop the great work!"

"Sunday afternoon, went tapas style, with warmers, meatballs, broiled scallops, pizza, crisp wine and a nice dog head, we left talking about all the taste, that just went on in our mouths, some many that all distinguish themselves , but never over power, And we originally were going across the street. "Excellent! We ordered the fish and chips, large portion of fish, slightly broken and not greasy. We also ordered the combination Clam and Scallop. The shells were delicious and the scallops were sweet: the perfect lunch for our day trip!"
