"Dual review, personal and professional so to speak . . . but perfect rating either way. So, personal . . . goodbye Jersey Michael, Firestation Submarines, Underground Train System . . . I may have gotten those chains wrong but something like that . . . and Pubix (I got that one right, I'm sure of it) for subs/heroes/grinders/long sandwiches. We started getting Wegmans subs at the start of the pandemic because of the ease of their curbside pickup, but we've continued because the subs are so dang good. I jump between Danny's Favorite (Italian sub), their version of a club, and my recent go to sub, chicken salad with banana peppers and bacon. My wife and daughter usually get the turkey breast...

Dan is the most unprofessional manager I 've ever come across in my life. The staff of this store feel very entitled for literal employees of a grocery chain.

I visited Cary's Wegmans for a long overdue field trip. It has been open for 1 year and is located between MCcrimmon parkway and Morrisville Carpenter rd off of Davis Drive. Technically I think it is in M-ville. It is in a new plaza and is the anchor with ample parking. Foyer/vestibule is sizeable and very clean. For context-My visit was on Super Bowl Sunday with Valentine's falling on the next day. Basically a grocery store double whammy. Huge Valentine display greeted customers upon entering. Front end was abuzz with 30 registers to keep it moving. On to the Wine/beer section, which was well stocked and diverse. Grocery aisles were also in good condition considering the holiday. I have been shopping at this store since it opened; now it is my favorite place to get food. Because Wegmans is such a big store, it requires a little preparation to understand. You cannot just run in, pick up a few things and get out of the store quickly. Shopping at Wegmans is an experience. You can spend a lot of money, or about what you spend to buy groceries at Super Target. I recommend looking at the Wegmans website before you go there. See what is available; familiarize yourself with the store layout. Wegmans store brands are generally a good deal (an excellent balance of relatively low prices and great quality). 80% of my store purchases are Wegmans store brand items. But......Wegman...

"Excellent authentic Cuban food! We broke up here last month on our way to Europe. We spent the night in an area hotel, so I first saw for a good restaurant for dinner. That was perfect. It's very casual. We had both Martinis (Mine was a lemon drop) for our cocktails. DH had the Bistec Empanizado and I had the Churrasco. We both ordered the black beans and curtains. It's so delicious. I loved the Chimichurri sauce that came with my plate. With our meal bread was served directly from the oven. When looking at our bill we noticed a 15% discount. DH is a retired veteran and while he didn't have his ID card, the waitress was kind to give him another discount. Very nice! If we ever fly out of Raleigh, we'll come back."

"We were so excited to go to St. Patrick's day. And the food was good. But we were treated so badly that I could never go in there again. I was in tears how the waitress treated us. It was busy, but she was so terrible, went in the middle when we asked for drinks, asked us 30 seconds after we set you ready to order food? She blew the silverware on the table. We were there to have a nice family dinner and it was completely ruined. I hate to evaluate a whole restaurant based on a server, but when the guy came in the dress shirt, he treated us as if we were the problem and that made it even worse. I tried a quiet demon and a smile on my FCe for our 11-year-old. We were so sad and so unpleasant. I typed all the other servers/runners who were friendly and helped us, but we were really hurt as waiters treated us. I have the greatest respect for people in the service sector, but some people are simply not cut out for this kind of work. And I fear that if they continue to serve people in this institution, we will not be the only ones to leave such a review."

"I have never been treated quite as rudely as I was the night that seven friends and I went here for dinner. We were treated as if we were second class by the server and management. We left after a drink and looking over the menu. I have eaten in some fine restaurants, many in NYC, that were finer than this one. However, they were as they say in the south ;uppity ;, myself I considered their attitude pompous and self important. You want RUDE and impolite... then by all means go here for a meal. Take your friends so that they can experience it too. It was charming to be treated as if you were sitting below the salt. Everyone should have this feeling in a place they intended to spend an evening with friends. DONT MISS IT."
