Despite having only two staff members—one cooking in the back and a friendly cashier managing both the counter and drive-thru—they handled everything incredibly well. The cook was clearly working hard, managing the workload of three people, while the cashier was taking orders with a smile. I only waited 20 minutes for my taquito, and honestly, I didn't mind at all because they were doing such an outstanding job with limited resources. The service was extremely slow; my burger felt like it was melting away. When I say slow, I mean it took nearly 55 minutes for just five cars to get through the drive-thru. The food itself was mediocre—not great, but not terrible either. I would rate it a 2.5 out of 5.

I officially overheard an employee say he was about to burst just before he switched the microphone. That's not even the point, though. I've been waiting nearly 15 minutes to place my order, and I can hear everyone rushing around in the back. I get it—everyone's busy—but please stay on top of things! Some of us don’t have that much time to spare. The guy at the window really deserves some credit for his hard work, though!

As a first-time visitor to Texas, I had to try Whataburger. The food lived up to my expectations based on what I had heard. The only reason I'm giving it a lower rating is that we waited exactly 34 minutes for our food. I'm not one to make a fuss, and I don't get aggravated with food workers since I know it can be challenging. However, when I finally went to the front to inquire about our order, our food was handed to me immediately. Aside from that, it was a nice experience.
