"My son and I were hanging out and I decided i needed to get us a bite to eat. We pulled into the parking lot and I didn 't even see Vinni 's, I was eyeing another place. My son insisted we try this place out, saying he wants to try a Calzone. I love that my son has an opinion and of course told my son yes we can eat here... but I really wasn 't in the mood for Italian food. We walk in and a quiet gentleman takes our order, he was nice and appeared to be the only one there. I ordered the Calzone and my son changed up and ordered a kids Spaghetti and Meatballs. This is amusing because the reason we went here was for the Calzone, but he said "I want Spaghetti, I 'll just try some of your Calzone. So now I gotta share my food... LOL We take a seat and wait for our food. The food came out quickly. My Calzone was incredible! The flavor, the texture, the sauce, everything was amazing. My son ranted about his Spaghetti like it was shipped from Italy, he enjoyed it big time and told me he would save half just he could have leftovers later. My son of course had several bites of my meal as well and loved the Calzone! The gentleman brought out a piece of garlic bread for my son and told him to eat and be a strong boy, I loved this extra touch, my son did as well. I love small fun little places like this and I love that its located in Allen. If I could change one little thing about this place, I 'd have small speakers someplace playing very low Italian music... it would give the awesome quaint place a little sparkle of Italy. That being said, the food is incredible and I loved the service. Allen needs more places like this and I truly want this place to succeed. My son and I can 't wait to come back!"
