The restaurant is the a landmark of Oakland, and I will say the most authentic cuisine on the strip of Telegraph Ave. (sorry, it’s the truth). Quality is exceptional. Food is first class. Fresh, flavorful, abundant. Service is super. The ambience is well curated to represent our rich heritage. Yes, I’m Eritrean. My mother is the best cook. Thus, my pallet is extremely picky and snobby. This is to my habesha brethren and foreign audience, alike. It’s a definite hell yes for me. Don’t even bother deciding what to order based on the price listings on the menu. Just go for it. You will not get disappointed. P.S. They do catering. For any event and capacity.
