"This was a wonderful culinary experience from the beginning to the end. We were a party of 6 adults and two children. We immediately sat in a big stand. Our Francine server was one of the best waiters I ever had. She has old school charm and hospitality. She even spoke French with my husband (a native language). She brought fruit salad out immediately so that the children would eat something while we ordered. The food came out quickly. I can't stress how delicious the turkey dinner was. It was better than Thanksgiving. The filling! Everyone enjoyed their food. The portions are huge. We were there for lunch and were so full all day that we skipped dinner. I recommend the Flashback Diner and especially Francine."

"I'm eating at this fine little diner today. I have eaten there about 2 to 3 times and was always satisfied. Today, when we paid our bill, they asked how everything was. I reacted enthusiastically! The service was quick and friendly. The meal was hot and tasty....eggs, pancakes, sausage links, perfect bacon and great groundless coffee! Last Friday evening I went to a popular and much more expensive restaurant in the Central West End and was "not even close to being so happy! I wish all the restaurants were so good. Keep it simple and good and they will come! Go on, Troy Family Restaurant! Get up!"
