"I'm eating at this fine little diner today. I have eaten there about 2 to 3 times and was always satisfied. Today, when we paid our bill, they asked how everything was. I reacted enthusiastically! The service was quick and friendly. The meal was hot and tasty....eggs, pancakes, sausage links, perfect bacon and great groundless coffee! Last Friday evening I went to a popular and much more expensive restaurant in the Central West End and was "not even close to being so happy! I wish all the restaurants were so good. Keep it simple and good and they will come! Go on, Troy Family Restaurant! Get up!"

This is ABSOLUTELY my entire family of 6's FAVORITE restaurant!! I recommend them to EVERYBODY!!! When your looking for amazing diner down home food, look no further!! And the customer service can't be beat either!!! WE LOVE YOU TROY FAMILY RESTAURANT!!!!

It was a slow afternoon/evening. We arrived at about 4:15 pm. The waitress was prompt and kind.The food quality was mediocre. I ordered the Gyro and it was fairly sad in presentation. The meat was dry around the edges and the pita was fairly hard. The cucumber sauce was on the side and while smelled good, it didn't hit the flavor palette well.The prices are a bit steep. Granted the last time we were there was late 2019 or early 2020 and times have changed.
