"my family and I enjoy haru sushi (now iiumi sushi) for three years. I think we discovered them first when the pandemic met and we wanted to eat fresh quality sushi from the safety of our house. haru had amazing quality to reasonable trips and offered delicious fish and sides to compliment. as they can see, our family can eat haha and the portions here are very full. for the Bento boxes they have sweet little sides that require their warm, crispy and pickel. it is all very well balanced and they will be full, only not always of the sashimi alone. for the Sashimi/Sushi tablets they will always be full and satisfied by the Sashimi/sushi alone, but they will also have many other wonderful side dishes if they want a break from the fish and also works super as lunch for the next day. some of our favorite pages are the brussel sprouts and the shrimp-Udon salad. very tasty and sometimes I just want to order this dinge although it is a sushi restaurant. although they always change their names (this is the third name change we have met) price was always very fair for the amount of food they get and quality was always good. I recommend this restaurant for celebration or just a casual nice lunch. eating is very picnic friendly. the only part is that with eating, I think the service was just okay. if the memory serves me correctly, we had a really nice waitress and an rude waiter another time."

"I tried the Mountain View location before coming to this one. However I don 't remember these items on the menu. When this Udon Mugizo location first opened I was so stoked! But alas sad at the same time...as I had just walked out of Marufuku Ramen, across the way... Not sure how or why I didn 't notice Udon Mugizo before I went in! Especially as I actually prefer Udon over Ramen. Seating was seamless even thought the place was packed. Put you name on the waiting list or use the Yelp app to secure a spot, and get a text when your table is ready. The staff were attentive, fast and efficient. No complaints! Send Noods: SEA URCHIN CREAM SAUCE UDON 5/5 This dish is 'LIMITED TO 20 ORDER PER DAY ' So you have to check and see if they are sold out before order it. Amazing flavor! The Cream Soup is thick and heavy, so while it doesn 't look like much its filling. The Creamy soup gave me a pasta with White Sauce vibe. Unique. Different. Brilliant! TEMPURA ZARU UDON 5/5 I love meself some cold Udon, especially on a warm day. Don 't be intimidated by the setting of this dish. I know...it looks like a project. We had to flag down a staff member and ask how it eat it...lol 1. Crush the Sesame seeds to your liking. 2. Empty the little rectangle tray containing Ginger Green Onions over the Sesame seeds 3. Pour the cold soup over everything and stir. Next...dip the Udon noodles or put them all in the bowl and enjoy! I don 't normally like Tempura, but here it was excellent! The Shrimp vegetable Tempura were done perfectly; light, crispy and not oily at all. Can 't wait to try all the other dishes! I 'll be back!"

"I was delighted to see this recent addition to Hillandale. It gives the adjacent establishments (Chipotle and the Big Greek Caf much-needed competition. I had their signature dish, teriyaki chicken, and an order of California rolls. Both were fresh and tasty, with only slight detractions (the teriyaki a bit oily, and the California rolls slightly lacking the usual characteristic sweetness). The dining area is spacious, with a thoughtful amount of space between a few central tables, and booths lining one wall. The service was friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere had a certain soul to it that is reminiscent of a place like Ben's Chile Bowl, but with a Japanese menu.Detractions: The sconce lighting consists of very bright white LED fixtures that are harsh and annoying. The nearly-white walls add to the glare. The acoustics are terrible, with no suspended ceiling (as is so common these days in many fast-food restaurants). All the upward utilities were neat and clean, but viewing a bunch of ducts and BX cable just isn't good for ambience. Thankfully, the echo-chamber quality of the space wasn't further degraded by loud music. In fact, the music was actually very subdued, and that is a good thing. (Chipotle needs to take a lesson.)My advice to the owner(s):Paint the walls with Benjamin Moore Glamour Pink, catalog number 2006-40. Put a clear coat over it for durability. Pink is a great color for restaurants because it induces a feeling of calm (but it will cause customers to linger a little longer due to its soothing psychological effect).Replace your daylight-white LED bulbs with ones that have a substantially warmer color temperature, around 2700 degrees Kelvin to 3500K degrees Kelvin.A suspended ceiling is probably out of the question, but see if you can spray the ducts and other large metal surfaces with an acoustic absorbing material such as International Cellulose Corporation's K13 Sound Absorption Spray, made just for that purpose.I look forward to trying more dishes here, and recommend this place for anyone looking for innovative fast food at a fair price."
