"OK……SORRY BONEYARD BUT 1 STAR! should be 0 star Been here before and it was always good, I wouldn’t say great but good/solid. I am not a craft beer guy so that doesn’t help. (when did Microbrew turn into ‘Craft’? Friday night with some friends. 4top Ordered drinks…fine Ordered apps. 1x cevice 2x fried dates. Fried dates were good Strike 1. Got a plate of heirloom tomatoes instead of cevice. (We’ll forgive The cevice once it was brought out was sweet and unappetizing (Foul Since we were 4 we decided on: “The Evanator(2 to 4 People Rack Each of the Ribs, Pulled Pork, Tri Tip, Brisket, 1/2Chicken, Lg. Mac, Cole Slaw, Beans 85” The sides were good. The meat was COLD!!!! (Strike 2 Asked waitress to heat it up (my friend who made the reservations was mortified She brought it back LUKE WARM AND BURNT ON THE OUTSIDE. (Strike 3 I was angry, I have worked in the restaurant business in the past and this is completely unacceptable I rudely said “This is ****” (my bad, foul on me and said I would like them to bring us a ‘NEW’ one. Guess what – now our food was brought out again….the same food….burnt to a crisp on the outside LUKE WARM!!! (STRIKE 4? What a joke. Since we were here with friends we rarely see, we decided to grin and bear it but I assure you if this was just the Mrs and I we would have walked out. We all picked at it….when the waitress came by she asked if we would like it to go….the ongoing joke at this point was “yes please…we can then take it home and heat it in the microwave” So…..check comes out. No offer of dessert or drinks because of the trouble – AND-……..the heirloom tomatoes that we never ordered and were replaced were on the tab!!!!!!!!! What a !!!!! joke of a place this is. Bill was 200 (we drank and had apps Sooo dissaponted and feel ripped off Thanks for listening!!!"

"As someone who used to be a frequent flyer to this restaurant from 2009 to 2015 I?m going to try to be exact in this review here on my revisit in 2022. The new location is nice with all the parking however I never really found parking to be an issue before. As others stated it is hard to see where to order from the road/ parking area. A simple sign would be tremendous help here. The new location seems like it?s the side or back area of someone?s house instead of a hole in the wall restaurant like before. I wonder if there?s some financial issues behind the scenes as to why they had to change locations. We ordered several different meats and only their bbq beef seemed fit for human consumption. The other meats seemed spoiled and smelled like they had just scooped it off the road hours prior where it was probably was closer to a servable temperature. It?s really hard not to use humor to cope as I loved this restaurant so much when it was downtown. I?m not even sure if it was changing locations that bent this restaurant over or if it?s a lack of qualified help or maybe something such as employee burn out but it was a truly tragic experience this evening. Maybe this experience was because it was 2 hours before closing on a Friday and they are not open on weekends. (Not to say that the employees were not entertaining to chat with or helpful) the saving grace of this place was the familiarity and well met expectations of the tried and true taquilia lime fries and sauce. I feel like a different restaurant murdered this one and is now wearing its skin and has moved to a new location. It?s also worth noting that we had planned to eat there but ended eating back at the hotel as the 3 bbq covered tiny tables just didn?t seem like an enjoyable experience."
