"My boyfriend treated me to a lunch at outback because i had been wanting the blooming onion for so long. As soon as we were seated we were sat down at a booth with an industrial fan right next to it. I paid no mind to it thinking oh their AC might be out. I spent the next hour and a half freezing. First up we ordered the blooming onion. As soon as it came it was already cold considering the fan was blowing directly at us, this wasn’t the worst part about it, the blooming onion still had raw batter at the bottom of it. Yuck. So we waited for our main entrees, I ordered the Center cut sirloin with blooming fried shrimp, to start off the shrimp was salty, extremely salty i couldn’t even eat it, the steak was alright, seasoned well. My boyfriend ordered the Melbourne porterhouse, he agreed the steaks were amazing but the side entrees not so much. In both of our mashed potatoes there was an overwhelming amount of sour cream. The only reason i am giving it 2 stars is because our waiter was amazing and very attentive, he did his absolute best with the situation at hand, although we had a bad experience with the food and setting the service was amazing. Overall the entire experience was extremely underwhelming and uncomfortable as i had once remembered it to be. Will not be returning again."
