"When I first toured the venue it was very charming and I loved the energy. I was extremely stressed and did not know what questions to ask. I had been searching all over DFW for a beautiful and affordable venue. When I stumbled across The Journey Cafe I was so relieved. Kim was easy to deal with and kept in contact with me over the months of planning. She calmed my nerves several times and even sent ideas for decor since this was a DIY wedding. The day of the wedding was a blur, but I had an amazing time with friends and family and was so happy to marry my new husband that I barely noticed any little hiccups that occurred. I danced, laughed, and danced some more. Everyone had a great time and complimented us on a beautiful wedding and great party. We didn't use the club portion of the house, but the guest appreciated all the bathrooms and the fire pit we used for s'mores.It's a very lovely location, and very affordably priced."
