"We have had prior great experiences at Commons Club, so were quite surprised to have such a bad experience this time. It was our anniversary, so we had high expectations. However, our table was by a door on a evening, so quite hot as it was opened every seconds. We were also next to an obnoxiously loud table, so we, in turn, had to shout to hear each other and could not hear the music we come to Virgin properties to enjoy. Drink service was very slow, the wrong salad was brought out and it took another min. to resolve it, and, when placing the short ribs down, the server splattered grease stains all over the front of my shirt. No apologies were given at any point, just the full bill with no pen to sign the receipt. This experience was not just well below the Virgin brand, but certainly not worth a meal for two. Commons Club could have done much better on many fronts here. This is not the Virgin brand I know"
