"I had seen the restaurant from a distance for quite a few years, and decided to try it on a spur of the moment. Was pleased by the physical appearance of the restaurant, and by the quality of the food. The service was very good also; although the server wasn't particularly friendly, he was very attentive and saw to our every request, without need of reminder. The salsa was passable. The queso was disappointing, looking and tasting like it had come from a can. As commented upon by others in their reviews, the place was quite noisy, but not obnoxiously or intolerably so. The menu offered a good variety. I would recommend Rio Mambo to others."
