"The atmosphere was very good, spacious, romantic. The food and service was just soso really, was maybe a little pushy on us getting the kaiseki omakase, but this restaurant is not that well known for kaiseki, so we skipped it. Luckily we did a la carte... at least the hot pot rice and chawanmushi was pretty good, the handmade tofu, raw oysters and salmon miso was okay, the agedashi tofu was horrible, sashimi was one of the worst quality I have had at this price point in the city, even local sushi place in Long Island had better quality fish at cheaper price, there are places in Manhattan with better sashimi quality at the same price point. Uni tasted bland and ikura too salty in the handroll, the negi toro roll was fishy. Considering all the above, it was overpriced, and will not be revisiting. Don't go if you want quality Japanese food. May be okay if you just want a nice to romantic place to chill and drink, and only order hotpot rice, salad, deep fried items... Just my opinion."
