"nougatine at jean georges is the perfect pre-lincoln center dining place. our waiter was very nice when he came beyond the programmed what brings you to us today? and service was attentive. the early evening views of columbus circle at this time of the year are funny. the pointed zehenkuchen appetizer was excellent. unfortunately the lachs was overcooked. the list of weeping through the glass offered some very nice choices. the exquisite amuse beech before dinner were thin sparing in a spicy panko crust with a lemon based dipping sauce. the French pommes were too salty. dessert was the always excellent warm varona chocolate cake. we're coming back. not always perfect, but close."

"Nougatine at Jean Georges is a great choice for a pre-show dinner near Lincoln Center. Our server was friendly once he went beyond the scripted greeting. The early evening views of Columbus Circle were enjoyable. The crab cake appetizer was delicious, but unfortunately the salmon was overcooked. The selection of wines by the glass was impressive. The amuse bouche before the meal consisted of asparagus in a crispy panko crust with a tangy lemon sauce. The French fries were too salty. The highlight of the meal was the always fantastic warm Valrhona chocolate cake for dessert. We plan to return, as despite a few flaws, our overall experience was nearly perfect."

"Edge of the Woods has a wonderful selection of fresh produce and the largest vegan/vegetarian meal fixes around. The cosmetic section is full of organic, cruelty free products. The vitamin selection is overwhelmingly vast with any supplement you could wish for. There is a great selection of natural herbs, oils, self love and care products. Not to mention the book section!! I am in heaven! There is a wonderful selection of organic clothing, and the vegan/vegetarian bakery and deli is out of this world. Truly a great place!"

"My husband and I were in the mood for a good burger when we made a reservation at Napkin Burger. We both ordered the truffle burger. They came exactly as ordered. We were happily eating them until we both bit into somethin hard. We spit out the offending bits only to find it was bone. We each had a nasty piece of bone! We called the waitperson over who seemed dismayed and said she'd show the bones to the manager. We carefully finished our burgers. We heard nothing from the manager. We asked our server who was puzzled but went to find the manager. She reported back. She said the meat was ground fresh daily and what we had found in our burgers was gristle. Now, did he really think we couldn't tell the difference between gristle and hard bone? Moreover his answer was a non answer. When the meat is ground is not the issue. He never once came over to say sorry. We weren't asking for any accommodation. We just wanted it noted but a good manager should have come over to, at the very least, apologize. And as an aside, a friend in the restaurant business said Napkin Burger gets it's ground beef from Pat La Frieda and doesn't grind it daily themselves. This is poor management on several levels. Be careful if you eat there."

"just one of the best experiences we had! we had lucky enough to sit valentineday evening dinner reservations for the cooks table from the moment we went, we were impressed by everything. staff: very friendly, attentive, 10/10! each individual person has made us feel at home and everyone seemed happy to be there what is a hard-found! chef chris's team were all amazing with him crafts. he explained every court that the whole team was synchronized when every court was out. chris gave a great explanation from each court informed us how he came to the creation of every court etc. we have eaten many “good restaurants”, but that was something else. every court that came out, we caught ourselves saying, "This is the best and so I have ever had" my favorite was the otopus. I had never cooked anything like it- with perfection! localis is an experience for me, not only “Dinner”. it's expensive if they're looking for dinner only, but if they ever want to have a 12-course dinner experience from an amazing cook, localis is probably the best place to do it in sacramento. will be back in future definitiw! thanks to the whole staff!"

"Super amazing experience for my first time dining! Made a reservation two days beforehand and was able to get a table! Received a text message confirmation and the day before another to confirm or cancel! Loved that! Pulled up to the valet, have the cash to tip, and it was a smooth process with great service! When you walk in ... a cool walkway to take photos and feel expressive as you enter! Greeted by the host, it was not busy thank goodness! Our reservation for a Saturday at 3:15 p.m. was the best! I highly encourage anyone that wants to come here to do early dining on weekends! We headed to the bar for green tea shots and then quickly sat down! They have a DJ who was playing thank God hip music with a great instrumental under the words to create a great vibe! Our server Emma was outstanding! Our bartender too! We ordered the Shellfish Platter, best for a party of 2 only' so if there are 4 people order 2 seafood platters! For some reason, it didn't come with hot butter, so if you love to dip your lobster in butter ...ask for the butter when your order it! Also, ask for salt too as everything is clean ...so you may need a pinch of salt! The bread table is the worst thing here, hard and cold ..not even worth eating ...they need to adjust this! But still no complaints because when the shellfish platter came we didn't care about the bread! You must order the appetizers and dinner at the same time! So just know the staff knows how to bring out everything accordingly due to attention of the table, etc. The short rib and lamb were amazing. We ordered another short rib to go! Lobster Mac Cheese tastes like the oven for a day and is not cheesy, I knew I was going to pack it to go and reheat it at home, so unbothered! However, this could be served hotter and cheesy, there's not a lot of lobster in this, but I could tell it made it taste different! Add salt and pepper! Lamb ordered medium thank goodness and bones I took home for my dog! Drinks are signature, had the spicy watermelon which was amazing! Not sold on the watermelon slice, it was good, but may not be watermelon season! This place is photo heaven for memories! If you have a birthday please be sure to say so beforehand! No splitting tabs! Let's be clear, Yelp says . If you don't have a 250 person person to come here, please go somewhere else! There are levels to dining experiences, please don't go with people who want to share a bill and plate! Two drinks, one appetizer, a meal, and possibly a dessert for one is about 180.00 : 220.00! Leave a tip of over 22% ... come dressed nicely! No need to send food back, cause the menu is on point, their ‍ cooks are on point! Cheers! I'll be back! The dessert chocolate cake was out of this world in richness!"

"I was very excited to try STK after seeing such great reviews, and I 'm not here to say it was a bad time or the food was horrible, but for the price you are paying I don 't think it was worth it. The food was fine, but for a $56 filet medium rare... the middle was so rare I couldn 't chew it. Which has NEVER happened before. Every filet I 've gotten at every other restaurant for $40+ has been cooked perfectly and NEVER chewy. The $19 sides were fine- again not disgusting or anything but like... I could 've made the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts at home. The crispy brussels sprouts were literally just charred. Nothing special at all. The drinks were fine- and for $21 each we were at least hoping for good. Overall, you 're paying for the vibe lol. Defiantly could 've gone to a number of places for the same price or less for better food. The free shots thing they did in the middle of dinner (a bunch of workers walk around with a sparkler and free shots after the music gets loud and lights go dim for like 5 minutes) was cool but defiantly just proved the point that it 's not a formal steakhouse, it 's a trendy bar. Which if that 's what you 're looking for then great! I appreciate the experience and the service was great, but probably won 't be back, and if I am I 'll probably eat beforehand and just go to sit at the bar."

"Took wife here to relax enjoy a nice steak, food was good. Felt rushed the whole time everybody wanted to push us to get in and out. Didn't even get to enjoy appetizers. When I'm spending $350 for a meal I want to take my time and enjoy it. I was pushed by waiter to leave a 50 dollar tip was not impressed I tip well if I'm waited on well not pushed. So loud couldn't here what waiter was saying half time until it came to his 50 dollar tip. Probably won't be back. Good steak just wasn't treated great, or like a human, and of course we probably weren't dressed as nice as everybody else but you know high rollers don't always flaunt it."

"Everything about this place is amazing. The only problem with this place I would have to say would be the pricing on items is ridiculous. Yes it taste delicious but is one small empanada really worth almost $4 ? I don't think so. Aside from that everything else about this place is awesome and I love the flavors. Please just fix your pricing if possible because I feel you'll aquire way more customers this way."
