"I've eaten here for a long time and went back recently after I've been thinking about a travel channel show about Singapore and Hainanese Huhn. We came right when she opened for dinner, so it was nice – no crowds, the attention of the server was all on us. The food was also served quickly; then we were the only ones in the restaurant back then. We ordered the Roti Canai. It was nice toasty and warm. The diving sauce has a nice spice. The pad thai was tasteful, but a little sweet; it needs some spices. We also had the coffee substitute ribs that tasted a little like Beijing spare ribs. The yield is quite good; it has the right amount of spiciness and the beef was really tender. That's my first time I tried the Rendang-Rind and I wasn't disappointed. For some reason, I expected the Hainanese chicken to taste better, but it didn't. I remember telling it before and really appreciate it, but this time is something different. Perhaps what they usually gave us the dark meat part of the chicken with a lot of skin and bones instead of meat or there is something lacking with the spices it goes with."
