"The risk of a place like this is that it could be something of a novelty. People love bacon, it's a clever and catchy name, so maybe they don't bother to put in the effort to serve truly excellent food. Luckily, BSH didn't fall for that trap. Everything we ordered was both well conceived and well executed. Particularly impressive was the bacon flight, where every piece had a distinct flavor. (How on earth do you make bacon taste so much like french toast? Watch out for the **** Marys, as these are big, hearty, savory drinks. Consider pairing one with a lighter dish, or alternatively turning to one of the excellent sweeter cocktails with something heavier. Lastly, don't be afraid of any of the spicy options! Nothing is over the top, and even the spiciest choices are well balanced. Highly recommended!"
