"I have posted a review for SALT raving about this location before and I was so disappointed when I took guests there on a Friday evening. The appetizers were delicious! We had the artichoke dip and pita chips! I would go back for drinks and appetizers but STOP there. We had the caprise salad which had sour mozzarella cheese. I ordered a Margarite pizza and it was bare far the worst I have had- the basil was dried and the crust was Not edible. The crust was so incredibly crisp it was like a cracker. The service was good but it should be there was no one inside the restaurant on a Friday evening at 6:00 PM when all the other restaurants around were hopping! What has happened to this awesome l...

Had a work event here and Becca was amazing to work with. The food was delicious and atmosphere was wonderful. We had such a great time and I can't wait to go back with my husband for a future brunch date!

Food is amazing!!! Service was bad each time I went though, but they were nice at least. The view on the patio is great and the place is clean and the food is phenomenal! You need to get energy drinks for the bar and get soup back in the menu though.

Friendly local pub and sandwiches. Fish and chips were well done. My company is ordered smash burger place no cheese. Orders were tailored to selection and cooked to order. Friendly open seating. PA system kept at an easy conversational level so not overpowering. Be sure to come visit!

"The Coup de gras after I ran the Des Moines Marathon: I went down to see Dirt Burger in downtown Des Moines. What I got was the best veggie burger no, the best BURGER I ever had. Why? It was muddy and savory, saucy and full of different textures. It was a perfect mouth. Like a big Mac, only without the disappointing patty and bread in the middle. I know you'll say I forgot and taste like meat. No. I know for some people the ideal burger is a meat patty with fat that runs down your arm. I understand. I have preferred a veggie burger, and I think that is more interesting with many impractical tastes, and it's health food except that with so many whole food ingredients it is somehow. But it felt really exhausting for me, especially when I recommended it with their real potato frits and the tiger sauce the staff. And she was right. As they once said on my beloved show boss! with Lenny Henry, I never had a liquid as good as in my life. They had vegan shakes that looked absolutely amazing, but I had no one to share, and I knew that I would be in pain after I had everything in... I'm funny too, but I had a granola in the hotel room I was pretty excited about. Anyway, all this and gluten-free as I ordered it on the GF reel. The staff was also incredibly friendly. I'm seriously jealous that Iowa has this joint, but it's all for the best as I would win 5 lb a week if this place was on the street."
