"We had a great time at Cobalt. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are good for the high prices they charge hence the stars for value. That said, the wine markup is super ridiculous, so we likely will come back for meals with friends who drink less : (a delicious Sancerre on the menu for $125 can be bought in a store for $24.99 . Food recos Foie Gras app, Caviar app, scallop entree, and my dining companions shared that the Lamb and the mac cheese dishes were also noteworthy. Our server, Nikki was awesome friendly, super knowledgeable and attentive. My dining companions were a little put off by the larger service support, or lack thereof, in that for the type of restaurant and the price point, they expected Nikki's support staff to be a lot more visible (we had to ask for napkins and flatware after getting our first food item, when the tables are typically set before seating , and we ordered 2 plates that we stated would be split between 2 of us, and we would have expected the kitchen to plate the split. When the food runner brought the single plate, we even had to ask for extra dishes to split it ourselves. these are minor things, and we just reset our expectations that while the prices may be high, the vibe is still pretty casual. Great views on the outdoor seating area, and nice ambiance, and they are good with kiddos too (crayons and coloring sheets, and a kids menu . We will be back!"

"I 'm so conflicted. My bf took me here for birthday dinner last year and it was one of the greatest steaks I 've ever had in my life. Today for brunch was overpriced, sub-par, and exceptionally rude service from our main server. My pastrami sandwich was fine, but the pastrami should have been the star and instead it was drowned out by the cheese, slaw, egg and dressing, and the egg was way overcooked. The fried pickles were good, but overkill with the potato salad that had a pickly taste to it already. And btw, the potato salad was good, but I 've had much better. For $24, I expected more from this dish. The duck egg burger was just alright, nothing special, including the fries, but the best dish by far was the shakshouka. The labneh really set it off. However, the egg was supposed to be poached, and for all three people who got this dish, the egg was overcooked and solid instead of runny. Again, I expect the quality to be a lot better at a place like this. For drinks, the green juice was delicious, but my mom, a ****** mary connoisseur, said it wasn 't that good at all, and that was a $16 ****** mary. Finally, when the check came, I noticed they charged us for water, and with three bottles at $9 each, I had to say something. For a drink that 's supposed to be free be $27, that definitely should have been communicated to us. I nicely told the server that and she replied with the rudest, nastiest, ok, what do you want me to do about it? attitude. She returned with the water taken off, but the attitude that came with it was completely uncalled for. It 's a shame that the brunch experience was nowhere near the quality of the dinner experience a couple years ago. For that, I 'm not sure that I can return without heavy convincing from trusted sources that it 's safe to go to again."

"Absolutely outstanding experience! First time here and will definitely not be the last! From beginning to end the service, the food, the ambiance were impeccable! Our gracious and talented server José should be acknowledged as hands down one of THE best! He was just wonderful! He romanced us throughout the night with great stories of food origins and thoughtful preparation of each plate. His extensive knowledge of the wine selection and the details he spoke of were remarkable. We sat in arguably the loveliest and best spot in the house... over looking the dewy greens of LaCantera Resort with a warming lamp above and thick cozy blankets for us ladies who got a little chilly. The only bad thing about The Signature is having to leave! You must get: Drinks: Smokey Makers with chocolate bittersCab : Chilean Cabernet Le Petit Clos Valle de Apalta ‘yam on It’ martini w a fire roared marshmallow for dessert. It’s ridiculous!!! The halibut and filet mignon were mouth watering The cheese plate charcuterie plate worth killing your diet for. The Cesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had. The petit four “gift” at the end...heavenly. Ask for seconds of their most perfect dinner roll with Smokey sea salted butter...the stuff dreams are made of! Every bite sip inside Signature is pure opulence and downright sensual! Cannot wait to come back here again"
