"I recently dined here and was UNFORTUNATELY disappointed with the service provided by the SERVER. The server was rude and unprofessional, which made for an unpleasant dining experience. Additionally, the wait for our food was extremely long and the delay was compounded by the slow service of our drinks, including a mimosa that took over 30 minutes to arrive. When it came time to pay the bill, we decided to split it, which seemed to upset the server even further. He made a remark indicating that he knew the service was going to be subpar from the start because we asked to split the bill. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior for someone in the service industry.I understand that servers rely on tips to make a living, but it was disappointing to see that our tip was not appreciated, especially considering the poor service we received. To make matters worse, the server seemed to have a bias against us as students, which is unacceptable and discriminatory. In conclusion, I was very disappointed with my dining experience at your restaurant and would not recommend it to others based on the service provided by this server. I hope that in the future, your restaurant will provide better training and support for your staff to ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve.Server literally told us when we were about to leave from the table: I knew this was going to go this way when you asked to split the mimosas"

"Finally tried Carbone and was extremely disappointed with the service. Such a shame because the food was delicious. The service just kinda ruined the experience. Busboy was great, but our server was snooty and messed up by making a couple of odd assumptions. He recommended we do family style (which we already were planning to do) but we waited 45 minutes after our Saadi we’re done, before inquiring about our second course, the pastas. He tells us he assumed we wanted everything at once since we were all “splitting “ everything. Why would you assume that?? If there was any question he should’ve clarified but no we don’t want our second courses stacked out with our entrees. We were the first table to be seated and the last to get our dinners. Nobody even apologized. They just brought out complimentary meatballs with our entrees which made no sense. My brother had ordered a nice bottle of wine for the table at the beginning but they didn’t bring it out. After about twenty minutes of wondering what was taking so long, we asked and server acted appalled that we would ask and tells us he assumed we’d want it with dinner. Again that’s an odd assumption to make. We spent way too much money for such low grade service. And when it came time to finish up we weren’t even offered coffee. He just plopped the check and credit card machine for us to figure out on our own. This was a special occasion dinner and we were patient and in good spirits but the service was a shame and I felt embarrassed that i brought my family here and let them spend so much money here on the eve of my wedding. First and last time any of us will be dining at this not so fine dining establishment"
