"I recently dined here and was UNFORTUNATELY disappointed with the service provided by the SERVER. The server was rude and unprofessional, which made for an unpleasant dining experience. Overall this place was average for downtown Chicago. The food was decent with good portion sizes. The layout of the restaurant is really weird as big as it is. The service was definitely subpar. Carmine's is a fabulous Italian restaurant! The restaurant has a really cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the food is absolutely delicious. Stopped in for Chicago Restaurant Week and everything we tried was incredible! Not to mention, the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly—truly the icing on the cake! Carmine's is definitely a must-visit spot next time you're in Chicago.
