"Mediocre experience at Opa the other day. First of all, parking here is nuts. Be prepared to meet a bit of frustration dealing with antsy parkers. Secondly, the staff provided our main order in a takeout bag shortly after we finished our appetizers. I guess they were hoping we'd leave then? Because we certainly felt invisible for the rest of our dinner. During our dinner we were never really refreshed with water, we were ignored when we tried to call the waiter by a larger party, and ultimately, we were served the dishes that were wrongly placed in take out boxes lazily as they plopped it back onto plates. I came to celebrate my birthday early but it was just not the vibe with the middling service. We waited awhile to get our check or be noticed by staff until my sister just went up to the counter to take care of the bill. The food was okay. The peach cocktail was probably the only highlight of my meal. The lemon based soup was not good at all when it got cold and was a strange combo of creamy and tart that made me think of sour milk. The meat loaf I had was a bit better than average, as well as the falafel. The beef skewer my sister had was also tasty. Ultimately though it felt lacking for the amount of money we paid, like we could easily get these flavors at more inexpensive and less snobby Greek/Mediterranean restaurants. Middling experience. Will not return. This place is definitely not worth it given the parking and unfocused customer service."

"I was hesitant to try Opa because I thought it was mainly a whiskey bar and had my thoughts on taking kids there. With a recommendation from so many friends with kids I went in on first Friday for first time. Yes it was crazy of me to think we could get in with line. We were met by Brandi and she explained it really would not be too long. We decided to stay and our wait was only 10 min due to most people getting things from bar and stepping outside to patio. We were greeted friendly and quickly sat. Reading menu I was nervous but decided the Chicken Argos let me say omg! Husband got a pasta wasn’t sure what he got mine was so delicious I didn’t mind his food lol. Our food came out quickly surprisingly since they were so busy. Our server was Brandi and she was amazing. Our drinks were never empty and she was so upbeat and positive and really knowledgeable of the whiskeys they had. Although we didn’t drink whiskey my husband was curious on them. I strongly recommend if you haven’t tried Opa or are hesitant like I was to just do it! I order the same thing every time ? and it never disappoints. Even our kids enjoyed going with us! We go to Opa for date night from now on! I’ve never had a bad experience there and the service from time you walk into door til you leave is great and help make the atmosphere so great! Can’t wait to see the new building!"
