"Was looking for a good place near where I work that makes good Singapore Mei Fun (curry rice noodles).This place makes them better than almost anyplace I've been to so far.They also have a California Roll Special where you can get two California rolls for the price of one. Worth it given the quality of them (and great for days where I know I need to eat something for lunch but want something cheaper but also healthier).So far I have no complaints and I've ordered from this place about a dozen times now. Absolutely amazing Singapore Mei Fun here. Price is very reasonable for Manhattan Singapore Curry Rice Noodles, too.Great place to pick up from if you're in the area.Super friendly staff, as well. Great English and they seem to care and remember me which is... honestly not what I'm used to from restaurants like this.If you like spicy Asian food in general, or just Singapore Mei Fun Noodles, or if you just want a quick and easy 2-roll (one roll free) California Roll Special, this is a good place to seriously consider, especially if you're in the area anyways.Keep it up guys!"

"I work at the Amish Market, and over time, we’ve learned the value of ordering food as we age. After trying all the Chinese restaurants around, I can confidently say this one is far superior. I’ve read all the reviews and am surprised by some of the lower ratings. Many of the issues people mention, particularly with delivery, often stem from order mistakes rather than food quality. The food here is excellent; we’ve never had a dish we didn’t enjoy. We always opt for pickup, so I can’t comment on the delivery service. There have been times when I had to wait on busy days, which is completely understandable. Occasionally, they might make an error on a large order, but after all, they’re only human. We really love this place and will continue to order from them. If you’re looking for perfection, you might want to try elsewhere. However, if you want great Chinese food at a reasonable price, definitely order from this restaurant and pick it up. And if you’re in the mood for fantastic ribs and fried chicken, come to the Amish Market!"

"I had a terrible experience with the customer service and delivery at this restaurant. The manager was rude, and the delivery person was equally unfriendly. The food was just average, and the prices were quite high. The delivery person refused to come into the building on three separate occasions simply because he didn't want to take the elevator. Communication was difficult, as both the manager and the delivery person struggled with English. Instead of being understanding or apologetic, the manager yelled at me. I will never order from this place again."

"We have been ordering from this place for almost 2 years now. We order pretty much at least once or twice a month. There has been no problems at all up until about 3 weeks ago when I went to pick up the food go all the way home I realized it was the wrong thing went back told them about it the young girl behind the counter who seems like a teenager said she was sorry and we would get something free at some point but I'm still waiting for that other than that it's fine very good place"

"I've been making the trip from the city to Bethesda for years, and I keep coming back to the Golden House time and time again. I truly enjoy this little gem. The food has always been delicious, well-prepared, and served hot. One of my favorites is their hot and sour soup, which is now vegetarian. I often request a dish of bean curd and broccoli that isn’t on the menu, and they are always accommodating. They've also introduced a really simple online ordering system, and I'm currently waiting for my order!"

"This restaurant has reopened and the food is so good, you should try it! We went for lunch in late July and had sesame chicken (solid flavor, my daughter loved it), pad see ew (delicious, try it if you want something a little different than pad thai, I love the wide noodles), egg rolls (just ok), shrimp larb (amazing, you HAVE to try this, or any of the other larbs, fresh, great flavor, perfectly cooked shrimp), pad thai (exactly the way my husband likes it). We took some cake to go (yummy sponge cake, not overly sweet, topped with fresh fruit) and boba smoothies (the boba were a little too squishy). We're going back for more tonight!"

"Stay at one of the hotel nearby for work. Hesistating as other bad review but no other chinese resto nearby. Got take away. Would say that the meal was American standard chinese resto but had to make review because of the pork szechuan. The flavor is not over done. Overly sweet or salty. Or oily. Its just ?? perfect. Highly recommend with only white rice. Btw the lady work there is super nice customer service. :"
