"I live in the CEID neighborhood and EastBurn is my go-to for brunch. When I have visitors, this is almost always on the to-do list. They have a variety of brunch options (even for those like me who don 't like eggs), $2 mimosas on the weekends, and mini scones while you wait for your order. The staff has always been super friendly as well. I haven 't been for anything but weekend brunch, but hear they have excellent lunch and dinner options, including daily specials and activities such as movie night and bluegrass night. I highly recommend this place!"

"I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant! I came here with two friends for brunch and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and the manager on duty came to clear our plates and check on our experience. Overall, a great experience! I ordered the kale salad and was surprised to see that they used curly kale that wasn't massaged. This was a bit unexpected for me, as I am used to dining at more upscale establishments. If you are in downtown Austin, I would expect the kale to be prepared differently. It felt a bit like I was eating kale from a fast food restaurant. However, the vinaigrette was delicious. Despite this, I would definitely return to this restaurant in the future."

"I liked this place! I came here to brunch with two friends. The service was very good! Our waiter was nice and friendly. The chief has cleared our plates when we were done and asked how everything was. It's great! I had the cabal salad and was surprised that she used curly cale that was not massaged. Maybe. I used to eat up high places? But if you are in downtown Austin, you should prepare the Kale properly. I felt kind of like I was eating cale out of pizza hat. But the Vinaiigrette was delicious. I'd go back!"

"My husband LOVES Sleeply Beer (so I) and so this is one of his favorite places to go. Fortunately, they have some good vegetarian and vegan options. My husband eats cheese, but I'm vegan. The curry with Mofu is wonderful and I got it several times. I also recently tried their vegan pizza and was surprised to see that they also use Daiya! Great pizza! My husband loves her veggie burger and the veggie enchiladas with match. All around, some wonderful Veg options and everything is always very good!"

"Valentine's Day treat to find them open on Monday. Menu was extensive and beer on tap plentiful. Waitstaff was attentive and the food served quickly. The plating was eye appealing and the flavor matched. They did a wonderful.job rehabbing an old bank building. The outside beer garden will be a real draw in warmer weather.Well worth a drive to Highland.My only suggestion would be a handrail as you enter the restaurant. There are three steps up. immediately"

"Had a wonderful date night with my husband. It was our first time at this establishment, the experience was great. Our server was nice and very helpful, the food tasted amazing and our drink was good and something we normally wouldn't pick. "We went specifically for the oyster “special”. This is the first time we went to a restaurant and did not get carry out since the pandemic began. We were able to sit outside and the closest table to us was or so away. The weather was very nice and the server was good and extremely pleasant. The oysters were good, although a bit small. One of my friends tried the flight of beer and was satisfied. We hope to return in the near future and repeat the experience"
