"We love you, sushi house!! This place has the best sushi around, no wonder they are always busy. Make sure you want food you call at least 30 minutes before you want to eat, only in case they are lubricated. consistent quality, great flavors, super professional and friendly service. They mainly conduct business, but you can dive in. The dune in is unlike most to be used, they give you your food, and disposable plates/substances and you clean after yourself. So they basically offer dunes, but in the safest way they could do what I respect for their staff. You have a wide selection of safflower and Japanese drinks, beer and soda. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi or Japanese food. Every time stand out. I've been eating sushi since I could chew, and this is by far my favorite place. Rate 100% of the time. You can't go wrong here, get the special dinner and make sure that the volcano roll and the teriyaki salmon roll try! "

"The food at this restaurant is terrible. I suspect they use low-quality meat. I would advise against eating here as you may become ill. The restaurant is also very dirty. The cashier can hardly speak English. If a restaurant doesn't even have proper utensils, it's a sign that the food isn't good. Save your money and skip this place."

"Ordered for takeout and everything was ready when they said it would be. The restaurant is a nice size inside, I appreciate how they space the walkways and tables as well as they can for a bit of social distancing. Some family members wanted Japanese food but they don't eat raw fish. Most places around here are primarily sushi restaurants (including this one), but lucky for us, Little Tokyo also has cooked meals, AND they are open on Sunday. We ordered some dinner entrees a la carte, which comes with rice, green salad (dressing is in little containers on the side), and miso soup. I wanted to add 2 cold items to my order when I got there to pick up (edamame and a salad), which thankfully they were able to fulfill with a short wait. Note that I would NOT have been able to add a hot item at the last minute because they were busy, and the hot dishes are cooked fresh. The seniors in the family can be hard to please with food sensitivities, etc., so I'm so happy that they enjoyed the food, particularly the flavorful miso Chilean seabass. Portions are not huge but enough to be satisfied. Service was good even though they were busy. Thank you."

"Delicious sushi and amazing, friendly staff!!! We loved the garlic edamame, Wagyu roll, Out of Control Roll and Hama Hama oysters! We had others I can't remember the names of but everything was excellent. It's the kind of sushi that melts in your mouth. Highly recommend!"

"I think they are one of the best Teriyaki restaurants in auburn. I've eaten almost 10 years here. today must be a one-off because she could be in the regular with her spicy bun, but not even close. I don't know. her spicy teriyaki sauce is great (like any other day I have) and her salad dress, but the huh and gyoza was not good at all: huh was hard, dry, overboiled; some pieces are too chewy. gyoza was darker than usual (old oil might be everyday (except today) would be 5 stars. had to go with two because it's hard to eat. a bit shocking, must be one-off, it will try again later."

"I went to this restaurant yesterday with a friend. the food we ordered but was delicious, which I didn't like was that I was calculated extra for eating, then what is on the menu on their website. an additional fee was on my bill for a drink I had not ordered, but when I talked to one of the waiters, he was polite and gave me a dose juice. And I got automatically 20% satisfaction, which was $10.12! What's going on with these people, they are a demolition! when the waiter brought me the bill, and I started to go through it, he asked me to read me as if I had been distracted. after they had charged everything he did to forget my credit card, and when I got it back, it was without the entry. in the meantime, the bank had the entrance curved and thrown him out, so when I asked for it and got him in this, I found him strange. they work in tandem to tear you off, I never go back!"

"Made a reservation for 7:15 arrived 10 minutes earlier, knowing it was busy. Host staff was all over, not communicating, I was standing in line to check in and the host took care of someone behind me and didn't acknowledge me. We waited until 7:35, (20 minutes after our reservation) when we asked again they told us there were 2 parties ahead of us and not sure how much longer. Sorry, we left and had sushi elsewhere. I have been in the restaurant business for 25 plus years, owning restaurants, this is not how you handle being behind on wait. No management presence that I saw, no one in charge at host stand. There are too many good sushi places to dine at that appreciate your business. They obviously do not care about my business. I will not be back. Only reason I went there was Ramen Shinchan was closed for vacation and figured I would try it out."

"L&L is always hit and miss, we just moved back from Oahu to bay area and try every hawaiian place we can. L&L off island is usually gross and this wasn't too big of an exception. Service is fine but the laulau was freezer burned and watery, a little tough. Musubi's were not great, rice was hard, not the authentic hawaiian food we try to find."
