"Guys, let me just say something. This is the tastiest Indian food I have ever had in my entire life. It is the best quality you will find, which is why it’s very expensive. Yes, maybe the service isn’t perfect but the food that they serve is quite literally sent from god. I don’t get Indian food anywhere else because it’s all very bad compared to the food that this amazing restaurant makes. My favorite dishes are the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, butter chicken, with garlic naan. The chicken is cooked to perfection. They do not serve small portions, the bowls that they use look small but believe me, it’s very hard for me to finish even one of them as the food is so filling. I am an extremely tough critic, and seeing that this place has a 4.1 made me upset. If we are judging solely on food it deserves a 5/5 and I say this with complete sincerity. Good job Heritage India. Thank you for making one of my favorite foods of all time. Best, -M"

"Hostess and servers were amazing! The food was really delicious. Broke my fast there for Ramadan and they were very timely and accommodating. Portions were generous – I have enough for almost 3 people. I ordered chickens Vindaloo (boneless chicken with potatoes in a red curry/gravy) and rice pilaf with garlic naan. I didn't know that the Vindaloo comes with his own free white rice, but it was still a good combination with the Reispilaf. Everything was very tasteful. Chicken was tender enough that my toddler could also eat. By the way, they offer you a chance of how sharp you want your food on a scale of 1-5. The mild was good enough for me, but my husband likes sharp and ordered a 3, which was also good. The bathrooms are also immaculate!! Had an amazing vanilla scent that pleasantly surprised me – somehow I want one for my home Lol. During a walk to the door there was a sign that they recently opened for lunch buffets. It'll be back soon."

"The food was BANGING. I went all the way from Boston to Watertown because my friend said she got a recommendation to come and it was nice. I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Naan. The Biryani was spicy even at extra mild. The fried chicken kothey momos were juicy and flavorful. The service was a bit slow, but it was worth it. They made a birthday cake for our order and the live singer sang happy birthday for my friend. It was a really nice experience!"

"We tried the Saffron Patch for the first time today for lunch and we were blown away!!!! Authentic Indian food that is the best we?ve ever had!!!! It was absolutely delicious! They let you choose your desired spiciness on a scale from 1-5 and they reallynailed it. The restaurant also has a very cool vibe to it. I?m so excited I found this place and can?t wait to go back! Ifyou?re thinking about going here, DO IT!!! You won?t regret it!!"

"This was my first time trying Indian food. I will say that I was NOT disappointed. I'm usually not a fan of buffets. However, the buffet here is excellent. Especially if you're new to Indian cuisine. So many options to try. I've been three times already. The lady at the front is extremely nice and super helpful. Pro-Tips: 1. Bring friends and family. They serve large portions!!! 2. Tip your waiter/waitress 3. If you want to try the buffet, get there early. 4. Skip the silverware. Use the bread to soak up the curry and pick up the rice."

"On the outside, the restaurant is part of a small, unloaded stripe mall, simple and uncomplicated. Once inside, I was in a fascinating grocery store that was well equipped with Lebanese, Indian and Asian objects; one of the benefits of a region populated with diverse ethnic diversity. I grabbed some things from the store that I haven't seen before, Lady Cream peas, but I came here to eat. In the rear part of the shop there is a small room that is equipped for dinner with three cabins. The menu is HUGE for a small setup. I came with friends and ordered the Kadai lamb, and it was wonderful! The service was wonderfully attentive and not slimming. Places like these are about experience and I had a great one. Portions WILL fill out. Take a big break from the norm and give Namaste “Gradtings to you” a visit!"

"Our waiter was no where to be found most of the time. It took forever to bring out drinks. And then we waited and waited and finally the food arrived all at the same time they brought our salad and main course at the same time there wasn’t enough room on the table so they removed the main course and brought it back later it had been reheated! All I all it was not a pleasant experience . We should have sent it back to the kitchen but it was too late. We love the atmosphere of the restaurant but the service and food was not acceptable . It was the first time we were entertaining guests and we were embarrassed! Peggy DeSantis"

"Overall its expensive, taste average and not value for money at all. We ordered a starter and main course, main course was served within few mins after starter, this is a general understanding that main course should be served after starter is done. Whole time main course was lying on our table and by the time we had it, food was cold already Starter was good but main course entree (Paneer Peshwari) was just sweet and tasted like Paneer Butter Masala, not good. Naan bread was over done Server or no one for that matter had the courtesy to stop by at our table again to check on how food is and hows everything"

"We love India quality! The lamb curry is amazing, and the dinner cures with a free cup of coffee after meal. The portions are large enough to share, and it is not too sharp! We went on Valentine's Day, and waiting was crazy, but they gave me a free rose, so that was sweet. This was one of my first introductions to Indian cuisine, and I think I made the transition beautiful from Indian food virgin to Indian food lovers! Lamb Curry is spicy of nature so you might want to try something sweeter like a pineapple chicken dish first if you don't like spicy dishes. Don't be afraid to try it! The service is really good, but I got the feeling that once we've finished eating it was time to go, but that's understandable as they want to be able to serve others without waiting too long."

"I think we loved the price of Indian food and taste was good as well. For future Indian food pick up.we are going to continue with Tarka guys. I think with their great food service they can improve taste of the lamb kebabs. It can be much more tenderness also improve marinating of meat."

"Disappointed. Plain naan was very oily. There were only 4 small cuts of Mushroom in the Qurma. A white mushroom which you could tell it was not cooked in that qurma, and been for one minute inside the qurma while reheating. It seemed they reheated the old sauce, which did not taste like a mushroom sauce. It was a fake and not original mushroom qurma. We ordered a mix grill, which chicken kebab were completely cooked to the point we could not teste the meat, it was hard and burned. Goat karayee was hard. The meat was not soft at all."

"We had my son's birthday party at ulavacharu party hall in march 2022. Party hall was nice and clean, all the tables were covered white neat cloth. We had vegetarian food, it was very delicious, tasty, fresh and hot. Everyone liked it very much. Food was getting refilled very quickly without any delay. Management is very understanding and clear, process of booking hall and ordering food menu is very straightforward.. Thank you very much for making it successfully occasion."

"Tonight, my husband and I reviewed the new Indian Fusion Restaurant, Taj Fusion, On Wantagh Ave and omg, I can't say enough great things about it! Tonight was a “Soft Opening” so it’s not really open, just on a test, it was super low key and the staff was very attentive. They open officially next Saturday. Our waiter, AJ, really recommended amazing things from the menu. We started with an Indian beer we enjoyed very much. My husband and I asked him to get all our dishes for us and each one was amazing! We had the naan (cheese, plain and garlic... all were amazing! AJ recommended a trio of dipping sauces to go with what was also amazing. We also had an appetizer of Samosas.delicious and tasteful! AJ then hit the chickens Curry he said was a classic and definitely a must... my husband wanted more than we finished the dish! Only the correct amount of spices and it was delicious. Next we asked AJ to get a lamb dish for us, and he said I know the perfect dish and went away. When we got it, he told us it was called the Lamb Rogan Jos, who was a delicious sauce with a hint of garlic and fennel. Another great dish! AJ also recommended a classic Indian dessert that I cannot explain what it is, but it had a lemon sauce over it and it was good! Overall we had a great experience. The owner was very nice and we enjoyed talking to him and his mother who were there tonight. The owner insisted that we come back for the great opening to get the full experience! We are happy with the experience tonight, I can only imagine how it will be when they are fully open! I definitely recommend this place, especially if you didn't try it, it doesn't really like Indian food (like my husband and I before. The staff will help you find something and make sure you enjoy every part of it (the waiter told us that if we don't like to say anything to him, and he will make sure we enjoy our food! . My husband and I will definitely be there regularly!"

"We visited on Christmas and they were a bit overwhelmed, not having expected the rush so were significantly understaffed. Delay to meal from a 7:30 open table reservation was 2 hrs. But it’s a new restaurant and they just didn’t plan for everyone in Raleigh to want Indian food on Christmas so cutting them some slack. Atmosphere was pleasant and colorful, food was good. Noise was not high for the size."

"This is my 4th time eating here. A favorite when I come to AC but this experience was absolutely terrible. They have raised their prices, the quality of the food has gone down severely. And on top of that the service was the most disgusting. It is a shame. The waiter took our order and we ordered garlic naan and he continuously argued with all 6 people and wanted to charge us for something we didn’t ordered. He fixed it by basically giving us the same naan with garlic on it. Which is he could have done from the start but ruined everyone’s mood. Even when ordering he couldn’t list what was most popular or what was specialities. I come from a family who have worked in restaurants, I’ve been a server myself and I have never treated any customer like this. He did not deserve the gratuity that was already added to the bill once it arrived to the table. This wasn’t the first encounter I’ve had with this server. I let it go the last experience but this time when I brought my mom, and he made this scene of going back and forth from the kitchen to the table over garlic naan was the most dramatic way to fix a mistake he made on his end. And when asked to speak with management they never came to the table. This will be my last time eating her as well as recommending this place."
