"Found this gem on a Google search. What a treasure!!! Called for a takeout order of Weinerschnitzel dinner, Laberkase sandwich (with the best German potato salad I've ever had), and Apple strudel. The host taking my phone order was extremely accommodating. Parking was easy. Upon climbing the three short steps up to the inn, you went back in time to Old World Germany. Very warm and cozy. Felt at home immediately. Bartender was awesome. So friendly. My takeout order was waiting for me at a very reasonable price. If I wasn't pressed for time, I would have stayed and bought a round. This is my new go to place for German food in Chicago. Highly recommended!!!!"
