"I was only here twice, but it's hands down my favorite bar in Anchorage. The atmosphere is good and there is live music every night, so it is a fun place to take a date, or just go and go and meet people who are very nice, warm and hospitable that are both staff and moats. The first time I went there was because I heard that one of my favorite indie bands came into town, but I had to work until midnight. I was there at 12:30, the cover fee was $20, but I told the doorman I had to work until 12 and he let me come in and see the last 20 minutes of the show for free. One time I tried the food there ( chicken noodle soup) I was impressed; it was a HUGE bowl of very good soup, for $6, that is what many places in town for a can of beer. Very reasonable."
