"Bistro Bobette was the first open table restaurant in Richmond, which we visited and, eight years later, it still provides delicious food and fine service. During this visit we started with beets, fennel and walnut salad with goat cheese and then moved to rabbits for me and cattle medallions for my husband. The rabbit was perfectly prepared on a bed of root veggies, olives and sparrow, well suited for the meat. My husband said the beef was boiled to a perfect medium and the sauce was a creamy peppermint creation. For dessert we chose the elder cream brulee, a great end for a fine meal! The cook just changed to his fall menu so the online list does not show the current options, but all we ever had in Bistro Bobette was delicious."
