"Please do not get the french onion soup $18) or the short rib tortellini $38) This restaurant was extremely disappointing for me. I had high hopes for it. It is in a great location near Harvard square and it has a nice outdoor seating option. However, there was much to be desired. The french onion soup looks amazing. However, I should have taken another photo without the melted cheese. There is hardly any actual soup. The color is grey and cloudy. It tastes faint and muddy. There are far too many mushrooms and too much cheese. I have never, ever not finished a dish in a restaurant and this was one I did not finish. It was taken away half finished and nobody asked if there were any issues with it. The french fries were good. However, the two dipping options were some aioli and just regular Heinz ketchup. I wish the other one was something unique as well. The real disappointment was the main dish. The short rib tortellini was a small dish with exactly 7 tortellinis. The tortellini itself was not al dente, as another review mentioned. It was slightly under that and needed 1-2 minutes more. As a result, it had quite a bit of a bite to it, and the taste was not pleasant. The short rib filling was tasteless and texturally unforgiving combined with the underdone pasta. The sauce it was in was rooted in Asian flavors, which did not round out the dish. The carrots and potatoes were an afterthought, adding nothing. They were both underdone and some pieces were legitimately hard. Again, no one asked how my dish was. I am sure Harvest has some great dishes. These two were not those. I came here for an anniversary dinner and was excited. My girlfriend had a great dish, so that is a highlight. However, I am writing my review on my own experience. The service was subpar. I was not asked how my food was and everyone just seemed a little cold and distant. For $150 I expect something pheneomenal. And I was left wishing I went anywhere else."

"A more elegant brunch/lunch place with a more open kitchen so you can see the cooks work! I highly recommend this place for brunch, the drinks are incredible and beautiful! I got the Good Witch and it was SO tasty. There was a drink called Purple Rain that's SO pretty! I very rarely see purple drinks that beautiful and Felicia. The burrata was a delicious meal but we shared it as an appetizer. The condiments with it were amazing! The daily popover (which is close to a yorshire pudding texture) is delightful but huge! We didn't realize it's came with 2 and it doesn't state that on the menu so recommend sharing it with one or even two people! I got the avocado baked eggs and it was delicious but a bit odd to eat. It was a whole avocado, cut in half, with a poached egg in each half but I want expecting the skin to still be on the avocado so it was awkward to eat. Overall it was delicious but the lack of descriptions to include important notes for the meals is the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5. I wish the menu made mention that there were skins on the avocados or that the waiter could have looked at my party of 6 and suggested we split 3 popovers out at least make mention how big they are (we ordered 5 of them on top of our meals, drinks, and other appetizers and so it became wasteful). I want to add, for accessibility reasons: The restrooms are an adventure, I had to go upstairs and down a hall to get to it. There are elevators for those that can't take stairs though! Just a bit of a journey to get there."

"I 'm so conflicted. My bf took me here for birthday dinner last year and it was one of the greatest steaks I 've ever had in my life. Today for brunch was overpriced, sub-par, and exceptionally rude service from our main server. My pastrami sandwich was fine, but the pastrami should have been the star and instead it was drowned out by the cheese, slaw, egg and dressing, and the egg was way overcooked. The fried pickles were good, but overkill with the potato salad that had a pickly taste to it already. And btw, the potato salad was good, but I 've had much better. For $24, I expected more from this dish. The duck egg burger was just alright, nothing special, including the fries, but the best dish by far was the shakshouka. The labneh really set it off. However, the egg was supposed to be poached, and for all three people who got this dish, the egg was overcooked and solid instead of runny. Again, I expect the quality to be a lot better at a place like this. For drinks, the green juice was delicious, but my mom, a ****** mary connoisseur, said it wasn 't that good at all, and that was a $16 ****** mary. Finally, when the check came, I noticed they charged us for water, and with three bottles at $9 each, I had to say something. For a drink that 's supposed to be free be $27, that definitely should have been communicated to us. I nicely told the server that and she replied with the rudest, nastiest, ok, what do you want me to do about it? attitude. She returned with the water taken off, but the attitude that came with it was completely uncalled for. It 's a shame that the brunch experience was nowhere near the quality of the dinner experience a couple years ago. For that, I 'm not sure that I can return without heavy convincing from trusted sources that it 's safe to go to again."
