A classic dessert with a flaky golden crust, filled with juicy, sweet-tart blueberries.

"We had dinner at Shelley's tonight. It was my first time there but certainly won't be the last. The service was excellent and so was the dinner. Highly recommend!"

"It's a dîner that you can be sure has all the things you need. Small in size but has a lot of style, pretty chill when I went but that's probably not indicative of it on other days. If you're hungry, you can't go wrong with going to a diner"

"Good food, and plenty of it. Pricing was fair. They use the big sausage links, and they are a different taste than the small breakfast sausage links. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs and i think they used 5 eggs because there was plenty of eggs. The big thing is they use real potatoes to make home fries. They are cooked on a grill, and not deep fried. Home fries are my favorite part of the breakfast, so this was great for me. It was a bit cold in the dinning room, but not horrible. Overall it was a good breakfast and ill be going back."

"The inside is very smoky, even in the indoor nonsmoking section. Booths are antiquated and rickety. No children’s menu. No “handheld” menu with sandwiches. The menu presented at the restaurant was not the same menu as online. Despite the lack of options for kids, we decided that a plain cheese pizza would be a suitable choice. Nope. Sauce was super spicy, even for me, and I like spiciness! But kids don’t. One child tried to order the pizza with cheese and ham (since ham was one of the Chef’s choices, and we were told they couldn’t make that kind of accommodation, so she opted for cheese only). Ordered lemonade for the kids….$4.00 each and were super sour. Again, not kid friendly. Add on the stale cigarette smoke aura and it was a disappointment. I’ve been a Richmonder for over 25 years, remember coming to Havana 59 in my early 20s before kids, and was excited to come back to see how it has grown and flourished. Just wish it was more kid-friendly! If the kids aren’t happy, mama ain’t happy."

"The service was great, but the food did not live up to the hype in my opinion. The ambiance was great though. I didn't really enjoy my entree, the eggplant. It was sour and the very chewy, hard pieces of skin mixed made me not want to continue eating it. I tried liking it, but I had to get my husband to finish the rest. I had a similar dish recently at a different restaurant which didn't have a Michelin star and it was so much better. I enjoyed the ramp flatbread. The beef tartare was very flavourful. My husband said he enjoyed the duck fat chips the most though. The passion fruit souffle was okay."

"Make a reservation in advance because this place is VERY busy! Delicious food, upbeat atmosphere- always loud and packed on the weekends. Their staff are so helpful and accommodating. We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday dinner here and it went very well. We brought our own cake and they kept it refrigerated for us as a courtesy. Thanks for helping to make our event special! Vegetarian options: So many vegetarian options Parking: They have valet! Dietary restrictions: Accommodations made for dietary restrictions on most food items"

"There was a waiting time for a table at the weekend so the locals must enjoy this place. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. My only disappointment was that my chicken was on the hard side. It had decent taste and the part was on the larger side of expectation. The burger of my friend looked like the better choice and he enjoyed it. Will probably be back in this area and give him another chance."

"Richmond Va speakeasy bar.. This is a Speakeasy Seriously. They have a password that changes all the time. It's disguised as a book store, but with a pull on the tall bookshelves, it opens into a large period correct , prohibition era cocktail lounge and restaurant. The selection of spirits is full of rare whiskeys and bourbons. Small batch runs from small high end distilleries. The wait staff is top notch and with the ragtime music coming from the player piano in the corner, it feels as though we have traveled back in time. The menu items are incredible. The duck wings are amazing. As is everything else I have had. The food is also reminiscent of the time and spirit of the...read more"

"Really great restaurant in a really great location. The Avalon is a great place to walk around. The vibe at Kona is really great. I ordered the New York Strip with California rolls. What I ordered was pretty good; not the best but good. Service was good. I gave 4 stars because I think it was a bit pricey for what it was. Friend of mine ordered the salmon and loved it!"

"Despite still being on Opentable as a currently open, available eat in restaurant, it was not! Upon arrival we were greeted by upturned chairs on all the tables, and an owner who greeted us protection free! MASKLESS. My wife and I told him we had made a reservation on the opentable app, to which he responded, “not open for dine in, take out only, big fines”. We told him he should make note on opentable of his current position, and we left to find an establishment that was open for a sit down restaurant experience. If anyone would like to know the restaurant that was open, and we were able to walk right into with no reservation, it was Fat Rosies in Naperville . Thanks Fat Rosies, ur restaurant is awesome"

"Overall, this restaurant was okay. We like trying new places and wanted to give this themed restaurant a shot. We walked in to the bookstore and knew to wait for the hostess. She stayed in theme and was very friendly and fun and loved that we had and used the password and said we were the first people to use it in days. Speakeasy... password... DUH. We came early to sit at the bar, which the restaurant obliged, and had a few cocktails. The cocktails were excellent, the bruschetta was mediocre and not worth $8-9. The weirdest part at the bar was that we sensed tension between the bartenders and servers. I’m not sure what that was about but my husband and I looked at each other and noticed immediately. After our cocktails, we sat at our table. Our server was not warm, nor overly friendly. Granted, we had sat at the bar for a little while but as soon as we sat at our dinner table, she asked us what we wanted to order. We did not partake in salads or more appetizers and immediately ordered entrees, both of which were pretty good, although the pricing seemed off on the one my husband had due to portion size. The ambiance is fine, but if they’re going to call themselves a Speakeasy, it needs to be bigger and just... more. More decor, more theme, something. I don’t really regret trying G&S, but I probably won’t go back to the OBX location. Stick to the classic seafood spots you know and love when in Nags Head, KDH, and Kitty Hawk!"
