"I ordered a pizza from this restaurant through Uber Eats and was disappointed to find that the box was not sealed with tape or a sticker like other restaurants usually do. Remembering a similar experience from last week, I decided to call the restaurant and speak with the manager before placing my order. I voiced my concerns about the lack of sealing on the pizza box for security reasons, and the manager assured me that it would be taken care of. However, when I received my pizza from the delivery person, the box was still not properly sealed. This left me feeling frustrated and disappointed in the manager's lack of follow-through on such a simple request. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again."

"Seldom do I feast on fast food. But the papa is NOT, fast food. Papa Johns is an establisment built over time with care and precision. Fast construction could not dream of the brick NOR mortar it would need to build this house of pizza. Their food echoes that same sentiment, with care and precision, they craft their doughs and sauces with the highest level of details not only demonstrating the necessary time needed in order to not only promise, BUT DELIVER on their high standards, but to also show that fast food can equal the time and flavor profiles of even a Wagyu Filet. My Garlic Parmesan Wings and Epic Stuffed Crust Pizza were nothing short of pure fantastical culinary delights, and the plentiful portion of Pepsi products that this fine establishment carries is very reputable. So, in summation. The foods pretty great and they sauce the wings really heavy so you can kinda dip ur pizza in it if u want. Its like a lil treat. 5/5"

"Well we ordered at Emerson again it's been quite a while because we're on the other side of the river ordered stuffed crusts about 3 weeks ago twice as much crust as it used to be and a lot less toppings and sauce so I did the survey and the manager called and offered to take care of us the next time we ordered well we just ordered two days ago and no one had a clue said they couldn't find anything in the computer sent my girlfriend to the manager and he told her the same thing now I know the boy's name was Evan that I took my order the first time so I don't know that we can continue to solicit this store again obviously they don't have a clue"

"Did a carry out order about 11 am for 2 garlic epic stuffed crust pizzas and an order of the hot lemon pepper bone in wings. By the time I got around to eating the second pizza it was about 6 pm (saved one for the Super Bowl right! I noticed that the crust of the pizza texture is gummy. I pull the toppings off and the pizza is literally doughy and raw. I call Papa John’s local store at 1313 West Main St. and request a refund for one of the pizzas. A guy identifying himself as the manager tells me “I should have called earlier” and that I can bring the pizza back to the store for them to look at. So I take the pizza back and the a woman identifying herself as the general manager tells me they can’t guarantee freshness after so many hours. I told her that argument would be relevant if I was complaining about the pizza being old (which wasn’t the case it wasn’t done. Then she asked me to show her where the pizza wasn’t cooked thoroughly. I show her the dough and she commenced to arguing that it was cheese from the stuff crust and not dough. I tell her that I’m not here to argue with her but I’m the customer and I would like a refund for one of the pizzas that wasn’t eaten. She then tells me that the system won’t allow her to give me a refund. I asked for the corporate phone number, she refused to provide it and told me to Google it. I asked for the district manger’s contact info and she refused to provide it. I’m not sure what’s the deal with the restaurants in this area thinking that they can treat paying customers any type of way. Their ineptitude is staggering. Ma’am you’re an hourly employee you have no stake in this franchise what so ever! Refund my money!"

"I can?t speak on the other reviews in regards to how accurate they are or what the issue were specifically that?s causing the other all rating to be so low but I?m my personal (and very recent) experience, I?ve had nothing but the best possible outcomeevery time I?ve ordered. Whether it be delivered or take out, they?ve always gotten everything right, down to topping, bakingtime and even making sure the sauce cups I bought were in the boxes. Same goes with delivery, and the wait time on that hasalways be speedy and prompt. Again, not sure if the bad reviews are recent or more then a year old, but I can say with absoluteconfident I?ve had a great experience with Papa John?s at this location and highly recommended them, 5 stars ?????? Edit: Toclarify, the quality of their Stuffed Crust is what I?m referring to. There other selection of pizza I can?t comment one since Idon?t order any other kind of pizza but the stuffed crust"

"I'm a big fan of pizza in almost every variety. Dad! John's has been a cornerstone for our pizza night for the last decade. There are many places that are close to our location and we have tried them all. This particular location is more with its quality than the other locations in our region. I prefer the pickup and they are very consistent to have the pizza ready in time. Of course, the staff is somewhat overwhelmed in the last few years, but they have not allowed the quality of their pizza to affect. Some nights it takes a little longer until the pizza is ready, but they are worth waiting."

"I love papa johns pizza so I will get further pizza here, but I was a bit disappointed by my recent experience. despite living in blacksburg city limits and less than 10 miles/less than 15 minutes from the shop, the delivery was not an option. I had also asked for extra pfefferoni, but on only half the pizza. Instead we got light pfefferoni on the whole pizza, and it was strange under the cheese instead of above. I don't know where the wires were crossed because it was an online order, not something on the phone that could be misunderstood. However, the pizza tasted good and was ready for picking up within 20 minutes, which was great, and I am glad that they can stay open despite local personal shortage."

"I order Papa Johns quite often!! I use the online service to use very simple app and you get your dad rewards. I saved 10 bucks to my order today. Sometimes I get a survey and get a free Papadia! If you never have one, you should try it like a pizza sandwich!!! I go there enough I am always called with my name when I treat my pizzas very well and respected, always greeted, thank you place looks busy. I never see a dirty restaurant of course I do not go to the back of the restaurant, but from the front always looks clean, give them a five stars!! "Great Pizza! We placed a large order 2 days ahead. Jason called to confirm and was very nice, then the day of I wanted to make a few changes, he happily accommodated my needs. Order was ready on time, 5 star customer service (they even helped my dad carry to car), pizza was amazing. As a former Papa Johns employee, 5 stars for sure and that takes a lot for me to say!"
