"it is a beautiful escaping, putting my soy allergy. take them out are huge portions. they have made problems with health inspectors. I have a time or two after that, so I don't know if that's connected or if soy has found himself in my food."

"The food at this restaurant is fresh and beautifully presented, although it is pricier compared to other similar establishments. I particularly liked the Shumai dumplings and Teriyaki chicken. If they offer some lunch specials, I will definitely come back."

"The service was very fast. The atmosphere is very welcoming. It's dimly lit to encourage conversation. The menu has very unique flavor combinations (sushi and sashimi options) which drew me to introduce this to my best friend for her Mother's Day lunch. I tried the King Cali and the Peanut Avocado rolls. I was impressed with both, particularly the way the Peanut Avocado turned out. The yellowfin tuna and passion rolls were tried by my best friend and she liked them a lot. They are slightly on the higher end for what we would pay for rolls but we are definitely open to trying this place again. Vegetarian options: They do have rolls that are primarily vegetarian as well as Asian fusion options."

"I usually have a great experience here, but this time not so much. I'll start with the good stuff: The service was exceptional. Waiting time was almost zero. It's not that good now. I decided to try the Yummy Yummy Roll. It has unagi (eel) above. The extra stuff you see at the bottom right corner of my plate on the photo is the bones I spit out. I didn't complain about it, but when the server asked if I wanted a box, I told her that I lost my appetite bc, the aal was not boned. She immediately went back to the sushi chef who apparently told her that the aal always has bones. So she took it off my check, but warned me not to order it again. I definitely won't. But seriously? It always has bones? I have eaten a lot of sushi, and many Unagi in my life to involve in Tokyo. I never had to spit out bones, especially not more than one. I tried to check two pieces, and both had bones. Then I tried a piece where I took the aal, but the whole taste was in the aal and the sauce at the aal. So it wasn't good and I lost my appetite. Server has handled it very well, but ew. I can't de-bone, but I'm not a cook. Sushi cook has to learn how to debure an aal. I will definitely return to this restaurant, but don't order it again! Try gluing on veggie rolls, only in case the cook thinks that salmon always has bones in it."
"I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews. We had a unfriendly waiter that made us feel rushed to make a decision, than never checked back after ordering. Tempura appetizer came with 2 shrimps and oil logged veggies. All the rolls were over sauced and the seafood did not seem fresh. Chicken teriyaki very underwhelming. We will not be back and don't reccomend"

"I had amazing time at Nare Sushi in NYC. All foods were deliciously prepared and waitress was very attentive. I especially loved their sashimi and sushi. Sushi was too notch and is the best sushi you can have in NYC. It was very authentic taste that you may taste in Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!"

"I work at the Amish Market and at some point we just have to order as well as we get old, we have tried all Chinese places and this is much better than the others. I have read all posts and am surprised by some of the lower stars. As I have read, I can see that most problems with delivery have or may have a mistake in order. Less list of food quality than low. That's because the food is great. We never had food on the market that we didn't like. We always pick up, so I can't say anything about the delivery. I sometimes had to wait on busy days. But this is to be expected. And on great orders sometimes they could make something wrong, they are human, but we like this place and will continue to order from them. If you weren't perfection, go somewhere else. If you want great Chinese food at a good price, then order them and pick it up. If you want great ribs and fried chicken. Come to the Amish Market ."

"This is a good restaurant. Complimentary Parking is available in the back of the strip mall. In eateries near dc, this is a really big deal. Although the decor is modest, the food is very good. Had several unique appetizers. Try their pate soft poached goose liver delicately sliced over agedashi tofu yumm! Their sushi was very fresh and in some cases outstanding. The chef saves and prepares the fatty parts of different fish (other than just tuna) and uses these toro sections as part of their sushi/sashimi offerings. They were very tasty and not something you get every day. I only wish I asked for less rice in my nigiri. That 's not a disparagement of their sushi, just my personal preference. Next time I will remember! Our server was extremely helpful in helping us pick our selections. He made special requests based on our tastes and never failed us in his recommendations. One negative note: there were fruit flies buzzing around in the corner that we were seated. The people apologized profusely and put out a citronella candie to keep them away. We were not bothered by the flies again for the rest of the evening. Maybe they should keep citronella candles lit for the duration of the nighttime dining. Having worked in food processing, it is virtually impossible to get rid of fruit flies once you have an infestation. One way is to “bomb” the place overnight and then do a very thorough scrubbing to make sure that the insecticide chemicals are gone. Don’t know which option is worse citronella or bombing. But you do need to take care of the fruit flies. Would eat there again, so long as they keep the citronella going."

"First time visit! We love Thai and sushi so thought we'd check out lunch. We got there right as they were opening. We were greeted, sat and had drinks brought to the table in a flash. We ordered apps. Spring rolls and steamed dumplings. They were good but the spring rolls weren't hot on the inside. Then we ordered. I ordered our lunch. I ordered chicken with baby corn and asked to have broccoli and then my husband ordered clear noodles with beef. They were so good. A little on the rich side but so good. The chicken with baby corn was really good also. Can't wait to return to this great spot!"

"my sushi place! it is so regrettable that it is currently closed due to this situation, but waka never fails to satisfy me and all that my friend asks for sushi. when I first entered, the visual aesthetics of the restaurant was the first thing that took my attention. I love small town restaurants; they are so original and offer so much personality. I ordered the obstsalat, the classic Californian roll and dumplings. I was satisfied (not surprised yet happy, but quite satisfied) with their trips and lots of food they gave us. the service was very fast, and our waitress gave us a plate of honigtau, chocolate and other small bonbons when we were finished. their entire staff and team were great. I needed change of money, and when I asked our waitress for something change, she was extremely polite and respectful and quickly brought us all the changes we needed and patiently exchanged with us. she has also repeatedly checked on our table, refilled our drinks and brought us serviettes while offering her help. this is a great place to visit as soon as this world-wide incident is over and the restaurant is opened again! it is the best Asian fusion and sushi bar I had here so far, I can't wait to eat here again (hopefully sooner than later)!"

"I've been ordering from here for a few years, and I've never ordered a single thing that didn't impress me. Great quality sushi, food remains crispy and fresh in togo containers, and really thoughtful packaging. Thank you, Nori!"

"We just moved to this area, and we were SO EXCITED this place was still here after we visited 3 years ago. And I will say, the sushi was still amazing. But at lunch on a Friday, not only was it not busy, the service was terrible. And there were only maybe 6 tables being used. On top of that, the waitress over charged me on the lunch special and said it was because I chose a cheaper roll than the special. Yes, I chose a cheaper roll, so she charged me more....? The food wasn't worth the experience and honeslty the place could use a good cleaning and update. They did earn the 1 star for good food."
"We were there perhaps the busiest evening ever; the staff was amazingly friendly and efficient during the organized chaos of returning home from two schools and regular customers! The food was delicious!!!! This was my first time in the restaurant and I will definitely be back! Kudos to your staff, work done well!"
