"We ate at Sakura after attending an event at the convention center and it served up everything we needed. The food was very tasty and fairly priced. We were served complimentary hot tea when we sat down, which was appreciated. One of our dishes came out about 10 minutes after all of the others, but that was the only real negative, and happens. The waitress was apologetic when we asked for it and got it to us quickly once we alerted her that we hadn’t received it yet. The location was also great for a quick spin around Chinatown to walk off our meal."

"the steak was not rare, the server had specially cut us into it to see if it was to our joy when we told her it was not rare that she went and got the manager and owner. they came by to do so when they were looking and going on when to tell us that it was rare and the situation rejected. "I ordered food for my friend that was at Motts in Ann Arbor and not only did the pizza show up on time, Michael the delivery driver waited for my friend to go down and get the pizza! He was so polite and respectful while waiting. These days it’s hard to find people that care. So that’s why this review is worth it! On top of it all. "I am giving this restaurant two stars because the sushi was really good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the good sushi, the service was subpar. We were the only customers when we arrived, but four other people came in 30 minutes later and received their food before us. When we inquired about our order, we were given conflicting excuses ranging from losing our order to not even putting it in. The manager apologized, but no one gave a clear explanation for the mistake. Despite the delicious sushi, the disorganized service makes me hesitant to return in the future."

"Name of the restaurant implies a much higher degree of quality. Sushi was food court quality as best! Menus were printed on blotchy and folded paper on what seemed like a malfunctioning home printer. Salad dressing was more runny than typical. Spring roll contents seemed mushy like puréed baby food. White fish sashimi was not the typical white fish. It was certainly white but a different consistency and texture, almost gelatinous. Overall, the sushi didn’t taste that fresh and pieces of the Eel roll were falling apart because they weren’t wrapped tightly enough"

"Was looking for a good place near where I work that makes good Singapore Mei Fun (curry rice noodles).This place makes them better than almost anyplace I've been to so far.They also have a California Roll Special where you can get two California rolls for the price of one. Worth it given the quality of them (and great for days where I know I need to eat something for lunch but want something cheaper but also healthier).So far I have no complaints and I've ordered from this place about a dozen times now. Absolutely amazing Singapore Mei Fun here. Price is very reasonable for Manhattan Singapore Curry Rice Noodles, too.Great place to pick up from if you're in the area.Super friendly staff, as well. Great English and they seem to care and remember me which is... honestly not what I'm used to from restaurants like this.If you like spicy Asian food in general, or just Singapore Mei Fun Noodles, or if you just want a quick and easy 2-roll (one roll free) California Roll Special, this is a good place to seriously consider, especially if you're in the area anyways.Keep it up guys!"
